With great pleasure I organize this International Art Exhibition “Tribute to the Woman”. The exhibition come to honor International Women’s Day (IWD), that held on 8th March and marks a celebration of the economic, social, cultural and political achievements for women around the world. International Women’s Day (8 March) is a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. The first International Women’s Day event was run in 1911, following the decision agreed at Copenhagen. This international exhibition praises the woman who they are and, where they are. Woman is a woman, regardless color, religious or nationality. In this exhibition 27 artists present artworks that admire the woman.
The artworks merge into an endless kaleidoscope of styles and colors. The spectator feels can sense and will appreciate the rich colors, nuances and visual imagery, which stimulates the eyes and the imagination of the visitor. The collection allows different people from different nationalities to communicate among themselves, through their art. The delicate shapes of the human body are represented in many of the art works. A woman’s face and body may depict different ethnicity, age and shape. Sometime the woman is symbolized by shapes of round lines and soft colors. Different techniques are used, from paints on canvas, bronze statues, glass statues, handmade jewelry, digital art and installation.
