Panna

Panna Tokujin Yoshioka, 2007 Description Upholstery is injected flame-retardant polyurethane foam over an internal steel frame. Removable covers are special quilted technical fabric, available in three versions. Fabric and leather covers can also be specified; leather covers are not removable.

Well-being and comfort were the sources of inspiration for Panna. Meaning “cream” in Italian, this chair is a scoop of whipped cream, springing to life when someone sits on it, adapting its shape to the sitter. Soft and embracing, its lines are graceful, sinuous. Tokujin chose the fabric cover for its inherent poetry, and designed it to be like a dress that can be slipped on and pulled down over the body.
