The Saruyama sofa, a unique project designed by Toshiyuki Kita in 1989 for Moroso, is an icon of contemporary design. Its geomorphic shape is made up of three modules which are joined together to form a large circular island. With Saruyama Island, Kita develops and expands the design to create an archipelago of independent islands made up of small seats and footstools that can live together or independently of each other. Saruyama Giro chairs and stools are new additions for 2013.
