DEVELOMENT STRATEGY
HOUSING
The shape of housing lay out are follow the shape of Marae, its like a big open arms, shows the welcome, protection and so on. In this design have two different houses, that can suit for different family, and this lay out can have a large open space in front of Marae.
14
TRANSPORTATION
For the transportation, the road go aroung the site, and the path can let people go to different area easily, and walk way follow the slop that its using for let the people do some exercising.
15
COMMERCIAL
In this design I also hope people can supply themself from this land, that I design two fruit garden, and two different size water tank which supply water to the whole community. The cemetery also a problem for this site, because the Maori people like the cemetery face to the sunshine, so I am not going to move the cemetery.
