01 KID'S FACTORY -A Factory Of Kids' That Remind Us Of Our Childhood And Authenticity-
Laveno Mombello city is the eastern shore of Lake Maggiore covers, an area of 25 square kilometers. It has an area of 200 square meters with about 10000 residents. The predecessor of the design was an abandoned ceramic factory. Handmade ceramics was once Italy's outstanding craftsmanship. It was once a splendid and once a pillar of the local economy. Due to the influence of global economy and fully automatic technology, the handmade ceramic industry began to decline. Due to this special venue, it has a traceable history. In the kindergarten design here, I hope to have a history of imprint. After reading "Little Prince" and Montessori's research on children, I hope that in this design, children can grow up easily and happily. At the same time, through the space design, in the process of adults approaching children, they are influenced by space design, change their mindset and rethink. Adults should reflect on learning from children and the truth we forget.

Build a kindergarten in an abandoned factory. Not only can the existing structure be used for children, the venue itself has the imprint of time. Montessori mentioned in [ The Secrets of Childhood ] , "Children are our ancestors." I hope that when we see a new kindergarten being used in an abandoned site, it will trigger reflection from adults, recall the meaning of our lives, and learn from children.
1 Material warehouse 2 Fuel warehouse 3 Unload place 4 Rail transportation The site is one part of the ceramics factory. In the paet, the function of this area is transportation and warehouse.
In the site, the material is traditional, but thay are special. The roof material of two long rail is red tiles, and the foundation of rail is plain yellow concrete. Warehouse built by plain concrete. They are the main materials of the site. It is popular in Lavenese.
There are two lines of transportation rail, and we have two roles are adults and kids. They are different objects with different age. Through architect design, I set two roles of people, being separated but get together through different lines, do not meet directerly.

02 COFFEE IN OTHER WORLD -A New Beautiful Coffee World For Coffee Lovers All-
In 1974, ”Specialty Coffee”was first used. The coffee industry has started the third wave in the world , called “Specialty coffee”. The new industry model allows us to deepen our understanding of coffee to the coffee producing area., The quality that is produced in specialty coffee that every hand will dramatically affects what you teste in the cup. But there are also some new aspects of industry monopoly and information inequality, impede economic and cultural development. Every cup of coffee in our hands, 60% of the flavor comes from raw beans, and 30% comes from roasting technology, 10% comes from brewing skills. Which goes through coffee farmers, merchants, roaster, baristas, and then to the customer. Coffee links different regions, races, people, and occupations. We attempt to adopt a prefabricated modular building approach through the design of dynamic buildings. People from different professions are linked to balance the participation threshold of coffeemakers in different occupations. At the same time, the coffee industry information is transparent, achieving fairness and development.
In the traditional coffee industry, the “chains” of coffee industry which in wide range. The culture background between industry roles are completely different. Communication between industry roles is difficult. In the “chains”, if there is a problem in any of the links, the latter can only passively accept. The opaque industrial information will deepen the contradiction of the promotion of fine coffee, and the coffee culture will be completely lost. To solve the development problems of the coffee industry, we must establish a new type of “ chain”.
If we can cross borders, occupations, and the gap between people, people in the coffee industry have the opportunity to communicate with each other, which will greatly promote the health of the coffee industry. Exhibitions not only promote consumption fairness from an economic perspective, but also people of different occupations can improve professional significance, reduce industry monopoly, and enable more people to participate and experience coffee culture. Therefore, we adopt a prefabricated modular methods approach to correspond and address the problems of people in different professions in the producing and consuming countries.

In the context of the development of the world economy, we find that Africa's economic development is closely related to the coffee industry. Among them, the situation in Rwanda is the most obvious. The economic development area and speed of Rwanda are consistent with the location and time of the coffee industry.

As the first city in China to have a coffee shop, Qingdao has a multicultural background. Due to the comfortable environment and strong cultural atmosphere, cafes became popular in the 1990s. It peaked in 2010. But it developed slowly in the after hours.
In general, the coffee industry in Rwanda and Qingdao has experienced a process of declining and re-development. In the face of the impact of the third wave of specialty coffee today, Rwanda as a producer and Qingdao as a consumer country need to seize the opportunity to keep up with international trends and reproduce the brilliance of coffee. Prefabricated modular building design can effectively advance this process.

MODULE STRUCTURE SELECTION — Triangular Structure
Module basic units
Triangular structure
Excellent performance
In the modular combination, due to the excellent stability of the triangular structure and the ease of self- construction, in the generalized construction mode , the triangular structure is selected after screening. Because the coffee producing area is mostly in the tropics, the climate is humid and the rainfall is abundant . The slope of the triangular structure facade is good for drainage, reducing the blocking area and promoting ventilation.
MODULE MATERIAL SELECTION — Wood a The most convenient construction resource in coffee producing countries is wood and soil.
c The wood can be reused and degradable, making the building sustainable.
e The cost of wood processing is low, and the cost of project construction is low due to the convenience of materials and low transportation costs.
g Wood is the only building material in the world that can be fully regenerated.
b The wood's own properties have environmental advantages, absorb carbon dioxide during the growth process, and have a carbon-fixing func tion. Carbon emissions are lowest during wood processing and construction.
d The wood is light and easy for women to participate in the processing and construction, and promotes equality between men and women in the process of selfconstruction in the coffee producing countries
f The wood gives the building user comfort and natural affinity, which is easy to leave traces of use and is conducive to the nature of the exhibition.
h Wood mater ial meets the s u s t a i n a b i l i t y re q u i re m e n t s o f international organizations, which can reduce the cost of multiple parties while increasing the profitability of all parties and the implementation of the FSC forest system.
PROTOTYPE FUNCTIONAL UNITS
Triangular structure improves production efficiency According to the production process of coffee beans, if we use the triangular structure, I found that the triangular structure not only has the advantages of structure and construction, but also can match the production of coffee beans, improve production efficiency and save labor costs. For example, in the “Coffee Beans Washing Unit”, the “V”-shaped water tank can reduce the stirring resistance, increase the uniformity of the washing , and save water. Through the modular design and the matching design of the production process, the coffee production technology has become more standardized, simple and scientific.

03 SPRING HOUSE -"Architectural emotion exists when the work rings within us in tune with a universe whose laws we obey, recognize and respect."-- Le Corbusier
"J i a" ( 家 ) , o n e o f t h e m o s t a n c i e n t C h i n e s e character with the history of nearly four thousand years old, symbolizes the life of dwelling and re ve a l s t h e ex i s te nt i a l fo o t h o l d o f m o r t a l s. Only if we are capable of dwelling, only then can we build. According to the ideas of Martin Heidegger who traces the notion of dwelling to its fundamentalcharacter, which is to spare and preserve. This renovation project of a traditional countryside courtyard in the northern China was a part of a rural planning which aiming at transforming the Liangquan village into a resor t. Locating in the intersection of the main entrance roads leading to the village, cour tyard 106 and 108 t o o k t h e re s p o n s i b i l i t y o f p ro p d a g a n d i z i n g the achievements of the whole recovery plan. I t requires these t wo cour t yards need to be transformed to landmarks and have great shareability. Due to the four different seasons in Qingdao, they have to enhance strong functional diversity to meet the needs of different residents such as tourists, local people and artists.
Liangquan Village locates in the suburb Qingdao, at the foot of Laoshan mountain. Local people used to plant fruit trees to earn their livings. Under the great support of the local government, Liangquan Village is transforming itself to a tourist town based on its convenient transportation conditions and rich surrounding tourism resources such as Laoshan Mountain and Yuezikou Reservoir.
The building in Liangquan Village are all typical traditional rural architecture. The houses here are all built with gable roof which is the common use of basic house structure suited with the local climates. Every household has a small courtyard where family activities take place. The original residents here were farmers who have been farming for generations. As a part of the renovation plan, house 106 and 108 locates in the intersection of the main entrance roads leading to the village. The concept of Spring House is to transform these two courtyards into a small public gathering places for both locals and the tourists.

The new Spring House has to meet the demands from both tourists and locals. Considerations on how architecture can stress seasonality are represented on playing with its transition from exteriority to interiority and flexiblity on open and close the building's different compartments. Rural construction should focus on the continuation of the "Real Life". On the one hand, the genius loci should be preserved for locals to find their sense of self-identiy. On the other hand, it has to creates a sense of dwelling to attract tourists.

The biggest problem of the original house is the low roof which is inappropriate for daily use. The massive rubble wall limited the size of the window, leading to the insufficient daylighting. The lack of insulating layer was also a serious problem which lead to cold interior environment in winter.
TRANSFORMATION STRATEGY 1

Increasing the height of the roof and introducing more sunlight to the interior spaces are the main renovation strategies. In this process, we added concret ring beam and brick ring beam successively on the original rubble wall to increase the height of the wall. By replacing the old wooden roof truss with lightweight steel structure, it is possible to set skylights to introduce more sunlights to the interior spaces. By the placing a concret corridor with a twisting form, two courtyards combined together sharing the same entrance and get rid of the limitation of narrow spaces to create more functional possibilities for different residents in different seasons. The silk wall and the twisting concret corridor made by industrial robot can become great attractions for residents.

04 WOOD FRABRICATION -Robotic Techonics Wood PavilionTraditional wood construction,Whether the traditional western architecture emphasizes the characteristics of vertical facade and volume shaping, or the mainstream wood structure in China formed by the connection of horizontal and vertical wood components, they all have potential in the shaping of horizontal and vertical space. With the traditional construction methods, traditional m ate r i a l s a re s t i l l u s e d to d ay. H owe ve r, w i t h t h e development of science and technology and human needs, people have more and more requirements for architecture. Digital construction technology brings efficiency and creativity while enabling architects to process and control materials with unprecedented height and precision. The development of robot has redefined the relationship between human and machine and between human and human. With the help of robots, the design and construction can form a positive interaction, and the design can be more free without losing rationality. As the oldest building material in China, timber production technology and architectural design methods have also undergone drastic changes. What kind of spark will the robot construction and digital design technology collide with the wood? Therefore, we conducted a wooden structure construction experiment based on the robot.

Metal Connection
The tenon-mortise structure of wood has good stability and durability. The design is difficult and the production cost is high.
Screw connection is easy to overlap, but the wood processing is cumbersome and only applicable to some special nodes
Plastic connection node is easy to install and has low cost. But it needs special design and production is not easy
Leather connection is beautiful and advanced, but the stability is insufficient, and the cost is high.
Wo o d a n d m e t a l connection nodes are easy to process, stable and reliable, and suitable for complex structures.
Force Analysis Each element is an arch which creates an outword need to be resisted.
When the 4 parts are combined with each other ,some of the outword thrust can be offset. The whole stable structure can be regarded as a cross arch with 4 overhangs.
T h e a x i a l compression of each arch transmits through the joint of wood sticks. The wood sticks sustain compression force predominantly and transmit the force to the ground through the joint.
Human Scale Analysis Plane Dimemsion On the plane, the flow of human activity flows in the X direction, which ensures the mobility of the activity, and at the same time increases the effect of the intersection point on the gathering of people. Section Dimemsion

05 OTHER WORK -Other things I have doneIn the process of studying architectural design, let me understand that design is closely related to life. How to love life is the key to design. Coffee is not as simple as a daily drink for me. In addition to the multi-layered and indescribable sensory enjoyment of coffee, I was also surprised by the meaning behind coffee, a world-famous agricultural product. Coffee brings me the beauty of life. Zhu Yantang is an important opportunity for me to get to know coffee. In managing a coffee shop, I share coffee and coffee culture with more and more people. In the process of spreading the coffee concept, I have more thinking and understanding of society, economy, and human behavior, which is very helpful for my architectural design.
Zhu Yantang Cafe [ 2017 - 2019 ] Store Manager Zhu Yantang is a small cafe in the shool of architecture, it is a meeting room and places for teachers and students to relaxs and communicate in their spare time. Before I became the manager, there only has easy latte coffee. As a coffee lover, I really want to spread coffee culture and tell our customers that coffee is not only has bitter, there will be so many kinds of flavors in a cup of black liquid. Buring I organize coffee sharing meetings and help people know what is specialty coffee, it also help me to understand the relationship between persons. It had been great help for me to reconsider architecture design.
