In China, the teaching of architectural design is still inclined to engineering. In the environment of art college, I have a broader vision of other types of design and art, but there still lacks more leading edge thinking in architecture. Looking forward to the changing, I desire to observe things from different perspectives and gain new understanding and ideas through more interdisciplinary research and study. On the basis of taking architecture as the medium to express my own ideas, I hope to acquire more media forms and use the art forms such as sound and light to convey the sensory experience. The society has stopped developing, but the nature will not stop growing, and people will not stop yearning for a better life. They will transform the living environment into the idyllic life they long for. We hope to develop a self-built eco-city here.
Analysis of the situation
Site problem Industry
Once the center of the city was industry, surrounded by supporting facilities. But now power plant, which occupies huge area of Huangjueping, is in its ruins. Industry was abandoned, people moved, city tending to die.
Huangjueping, located in jiulongpo district, chongqing, is surrounded by the Yangtze river. Convenient shipping once brought continuous energy supply to power plant. But with the transfer of industrial and artistic centers, the huge social relations attached to power plants became unbalanced. Power plants fade from memory.
Ecological
The old steel frames were twined by cirrus, and the collapsed factory buildings were covered with lush plants. Development has stalled, but the green are still swallowing here. Crops is planted everywhere, showing a vigorous vitality.

The art culture and teahouse culture are still known by most people who come to Huangjueping. But there was not much attention paid to the two chimneys. Only the people who lived and worked here still have deep or shallow feelings and memories of the power plant.
Boundary:
There is a huge elevation difference within the site. The boundaries of each functional plate are rigidly divided and independent, lacking of integrated and open public space. Hard boundaries such as walls and bunkers make the factory more closed and passive. It becomes a huge barrier for people to enter the waterfront space, which also makes the utilization rate of riverside extremely low. Rigid boundary

Concept
The industrial zone is supposed to be all steel and concrete, but there is full of plants, insects and birdsong. a hope contrary to abandonment. Natural ecology is not only swallowing industry, but also repairing the damage people did to the earth during the period of industrial civilization. From concept to construction, the project is a place for creative encounters and collaboration. In the process, students from different schools get to know each other. Together, we created a place where people of different ages could communicate with each other.
Site analysis
Design concept
The site is located in a creative space in the center of Chengdu. It is surrounded by office buildings and whitecollar workers , as well as old people and children living in the old residential buildings. Busy and leisurely meet here. Different age groups are not easy to have the intersection living in the same area.
Are the lives of different groups really so parallel? Under the pressure of the city, people need diversified entertainment to release the pressure of reality. We expect people to be relaxed and different groups can meet and interact here. The combination of balloons and word games creates a multidimensional interactive device that lights up the night sky of the city. At the same time, it highlights the local culture of chengdu and gives the people involved a sense of belonging.
