ZMDI‘s ZSPM15xx Digital Power Controller IC Family for Accelerating Time-to-Market by Simplifying Power Designs ZMD AG (ZMDI), a Dresden-based semiconductor company that specializes in enabling energy-efficient solutions, has released the ZSPM15xx family of ultra-fast, step-down single-phase DC/DC digital controllers for non-isolated, high-current applications. fast time-to-market: The ZSPM15xx’s digital control loop and compensation provide customers with a fast time-to-market and an easy-to-design solution for high-performance, digitally controlled power supplies when combined with ZMDI’s ZSPM90xx MOSFET drivers. The controller’s flexible design allows users to select the output voltage rise time, compensation, and over-current protection via two external resistors to achieve the highest performance in their application. ZSPM15xx Family: The ZSPM15xx Family includes six products designed to support applications for loads from 10A to 40A with popular bus voltages: 0.85V, 1.0V, 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, and 2.0V.
