Pull-in est une marque française de sous-vêtements créée en 2000 par Emmanuel Lohéac autour d’une vision qui s’est rapidement érigée en vraie philosophie de marque : révolutionner un marché de la lingerie jusque là très conservateur, grâce à des imprimés audacieux et des produits qui seraient un équilibre parfait entre confort, originalité et qualité.

Pull-in is a French underwear brand created by Emmanuel Lohéac in 2000 with a vision that rapidly became a true brand philosophy: revolutionise the lingerie market, which had been very conservative up to that point, with daring prints and products that had just the right amount of originality, comfort and quality. Designed in France and proudly manufactured in the European Union (France, Spain, Italy and Portugal), our underwear are the result of exclusive know-how using the most efficient materials and the latest printing and assembly techniques. Our attention to detail is what distinguishes our authentic design from simple ingenuity.

Plusieurs acteurs interviennent dans la fabrication d’un sous-vêtement Pull-in et chacun joue un rôle bien spécifique dans le processus de production (imprimeur, fabricant de bandes élastiques, usine de confection et d’assemblage).

Several people are involved in the manufacture of a Pull-in underwear, with each person playing a specific role in the production process (printing, manufacturing elastic bands, garment factory).

Soucieuse autant de la qualité de ses sous-vêtements que des questions environnementales, Pull-in ne fait appel qu’à des partenaires qui partagent ces convictions. Ainsi, tous les procédés de fabrication sont certifiés OEKO-TEX, label qui garantit au consommateur un produit sans risque pour la santé tout en répondant aux normes de l’écologie textile.

Equally concerned with the quality of the undergarments and with environmental issues, Pull-in only works with partners who share our way of thinking. In this way, all manufacturing processes are certified OEKO-TEX, a label that guarantees consumers safe products that comply with ecological textile standards.

Pull-in sélectionne toujours les meilleurs tissus pour ses produits afin de proposer au consommateur des articles d’une qualité supérieure.

Pull-in always chooses the best materials for its products in order to offer high-quality items to consumers. Pull-in undergarments use polyester, polymide and organic cotton fabrics affiliated to an elastane fiber. For polyester and polymide combinations, the elastane fiber is LYCRA® brand.

Les sous-vêtements Pull-in utilisent des tissus en polyester, polyamide et coton biologique associés à une fibre élasthanne. Pour les mélanges avec le polyester et le polyamide, la fibre élasthanne est de la marque LYCRA®.

LYCRA® is made of elastane fibres with unique stretch and elastic properties. It provides comfort and support as well as freedom of movement.

Its durability is also unrivalled; it can stretch to seven times its initial length before going back to its original position.

The cotton we use is made with 100% certified organic cotton yarn. It contains 95% organic fibres and 5% synthetic fibres (elastane), offering maximum comfort all day long.

IMPRESSION PRINTING

L’impression du tissu est réalisée en France (Paris, Lyon et Mauléon). The fabric's printing is carried out in France (Paris, Lyon and Mauléon).

Pull-in utilise une base blanche polyester/élasthanne LYCRA® sur laquelle est imprimée un motif qui se répète à l’infini.

Pull-in uses a white polyester/elastane LYCRA® base to print an infinitely repeating pattern. Pull-in uses a high-definition printing technique on its underwear, using sublimation to literally make the image penetrate the fabric.

La technique d’impression utilisée par Pull-in pour ses sousvêtements est une technique d’impression haute définition qui consiste à faire pénétrer une image littéralement dans la maille par procédé de sublimation.

First, the pattern is printed onto transfer paper. The paper is then heated at a very high temperature (210°C) and pressed to gasify the ink so that it penetrates directly to the core of the fabric.

Dans un premier temps, le motif est imprimé sur un papier transfert. Ce papier est ensuite chauffé à très haute température (210°C) et pressé afin que l’encre se gazéifie et qu’elle migre sur la maille.

The advantage of sublimation is that it renders prints perfectly and gives the colors exceptional hold.

L’avantage de la sublimation est qu’elle restitue parfaitement les imprimés et donne une tenue exceptionnelle aux couleurs.

The ink selected by Pull-in is non-toxic and pollutant-free as it does not contain solvents or heavy metals and thus completely respects your skin and the environment. (The ink used for sublimation is certified OEKO-TEX.)

Pour sa ceinture, Pull-in s’est inspiré des élastiques des masques de snowboards et a conçu une bande Jacquard bicolore très résistante.

For the band, Pull-in found inspiration in the elastics on snowboard masks and designed a highly resistant two-tone Jacquard band.

La bande Pull-in est très agréable au porté grâce à son toucher doux et velouté qui ne marque pas la peau.

The Pull-in band is very pleasant to wear thanks to its soft, velvet feel that does not leave marks on the skin.

BANDES SUBLIMÉES SUBLIMATED BANDS

Nos bandes sublimées sont fabriquées en France, elles représentent 2 ans de R&D. Our sublimated bands are fabricated in France, they represent 2 years of R&D.

Pull-in proposes a considerable innovation: sublimated bands.

A la différence des autres ceintures Pull-in, cette bande Jacquard est tissée uniquement à l’aide de fils blancs et ne comporte ni logo, ni motif Jacquard. Elle est en fait tissée de façon à pouvoir ensuite être imprimée par le même procédé d’impression que le tissu polyester/élasthanne LYCRA®.

In contrast to other Pull-in bands, this Jacquard band is woven exclusively with white thread and does not have any logos or Jacquard patterns. It is woven in a way that it can be printed on with the same printing technique as the polyester/ elastane LYCRA® fabric.

Grâce à la bande sublimée, les motifs que l’on a l’habitude de retrouver sur les sous-vêtements sont désormais présents sur l’élastique. La bande sublimée possède en effet l’avantage majeur de pouvoir être imprimée sans limitation du nombre de couleurs par opposition aux bandes Pull-in classiques qui sont bicolores.

Thanks to the sublimated band, the patterns that we are used to seeing on the underwear can now be seen on the band. The sublimated band has a major advantage in that it can be printed in an array of colors, as opposed to classic Pull-in bands which are two-tone.

Il en résulte une ligne plus sobre et mature, puisque l’imprimé est présent uniquement sur la bande, comme une sorte de clin d’œil.

The result is a simple and mature line, thanks to the pattern only being present on the waistband, giving the underwear a playful touch.

COUPE & CONFECTION CUT & SEW

Chaque séquence de montage est soigneusement réalisée dans notre atelier de fabrication au Portugal. Each assembly sequence is carefully realized in our workshop in Portugal.

Une fois les tissus imprimés et les bandes tissées, ils sont envoyés par rouleaux entiers au Portugal pour la coupe et la confection.

Once the fabrics are printed and the bands are woven, they are sent in whole rolls to Portugal to be cut and fashioned. The bands are cut by ultrasound, a technology that guarantees precise cuts and a perfect finish without affecting the band's elasticity.

La découpe des bandes est réalisée par ultrason, technologie qui garantit une coupe précise et une finition parfaite, sans affecter l’élasticité de la ceinture.

The different parts of the pattern are then sewn and assembled. There are several assembly sequences for each undergarment. The very precise sewing technique called “flatlock” uses two needles to create very little relief, thus avoiding skin irritations.

Les différentes pièces du patron sont ensuite cousues et assemblées. Il y a plusieurs séquences de montage pour chaque sous-vêtement dont la technique de couture très précise, dite « flatlock », qui utilise 2 aiguilles et dont la spécificité est de créer très peu de relief afin d’éviter les irritations sur la peau.

Once assembled, an operator checks the product, verifying each seam and measuring the product to ensure its compliance and readiness for packaging.

Une fois assemblé, le produit est contrôlé par une dernière opératrice qui vérifie chaque couture et mesure le produit afin de s'assurer qu’il est conforme et prêt à être emballé.
