“neo-CuBiSm” Strellson Premium for Fall/Winter 2013 focuses on the interplay between tradition and modernity with its ”Neo-Cubism“ theme. The quest for enduring values accompanies the personal style of the Strellson man into the digital age. The image is characterised by discontinuity. Minimalist and graphic elements are juxtaposed with traditional styles, details, materials and colours. The silhouette is clear and minimalist, with an intuitive design vocabulary. The dressy look is given a straight yet natural interpretation. Crucial importance is given to unifying elements consisting of traditional style details. The spectrum of fabrics is similarly wide-ranging. In addition to bulky materials new technical gabardine looks in clean and brushed versions are centre-stage. Yarn-dyed fabrics with overdye treatment feature prominently, lending a soft brilliancy to the new winter colours. The colour scheme is dominated by winter darks.
