I did not get married, engaged or anything like that as the background photo might suggest. It’s just my friends Kealo & Queensets posing for me. 26th Kaula Lumpur reloaded – I was originally planning to leave on 28th September but certain circumstances permitted me to change my ticket to the 8th October.. Places to visit on my itinerary listKuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Done Langkawi, Malaysia - Done Koh Phangan, Thailand - Done Singapore - Done Melbourne, Australia - Done Japan-Tokyo - Done Back to Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur - Doing Then Back home to London and back to Uni, University of East London Doing I was awarded a Travel Scholarship by my University, University of East London (UEL). My project proposal, that I devised myself, was to travel in South East Asia and learn about all the different cultures, see what’s on offer for young people like myself, and create an online mixed media magazine in ‘blog’ style presented in PDF printable and downloadable versions. http://juppieonline.blogspot.com My magazine is called “Juppie” which is a Japanese slang term for young sophisticated working person. I liked the term when researching one night. It’s also a play on the word ‘yuppie’. Leaving Japan and arriving back in Kuala Lumpur was a real nice feeling-like I had completed my trip. I came back to see the friends I had made KL, hang out and work on the production of my project With some of the Limkokwing students, and celebrate and party. There have been a few problems, but nothing can take away the fact that this trip has been an absolute success and enormous adventure. I have learnt so much, got some quality experience and work to make my magazine and met some incredible people. I feel blessed and look forward to my return to London to put everything together and publish, and to reflect and grow from what I have done and experienced. Hope you enjoy my Seventh and last Juppie issue - it’s been along time coming... Zoe Holloway X.
