Team ZOEY is known for our positivity and easy take on everyday life. We joke around, say what we mean and burst into laughter when someone makes a funny mistake; And we do that a lot. We all love it, it makes coming to work such a joy. I am brought up with the phrase: ”Smile to the world, and the world will smile to you”. And I have always had great success with being who I am and sending positivity and joy to the people around me. For this issue of the ZOEY Magazine, we wanted to do the same for you guys by dedicating it to all things positive and calling it: ”The Positivity Issue” . I am so happy with the outcome of the photoshoot for this, the AUTUMN 21 collection. I think it is the perfect combination of sophistication and an easy going, fun vibe. It is a strange time we live in and we all had to think twice about our priorities. To cut our normal life to the bone is tough but also educational. But one thing that cannot be taken from any of us, is our happy spirits and the way we effect the world around us with a big smile. I had so much fun reading the interview with Ariana about her best ways to keep positive and did you see the Behind the Scenes of the Photoshoot article? Even the pictures are so much fun!

Trine handles all of the Norwegian ZOEY costumers and we are so happy to have her on the team. Trines engagement and passion is visible throughout everything she does and that makes it a pleasure to work with her, both as colleagues and as costumer.

I would like to add that I look forward to introducing Zoey to existing and new customers and that I am both proud and happy to have the agency at Zoey in Norway.

Do you have a must-visit in Oslo? ”Oslos Operahouse is located directely by the fjord and reminds you of an iceberg rising from the water edge. The great windows in street level gives you a glimpse into the exciting world of activities in the many workshops. The interior is in wavy oak and marble. The main stage is the heart of the house and shaped like a horseshoe based on acoustic considerations. The Snøhetta, which has received several prestigious awards. The Norwegian Opera & Ballet offers a rich and exciting program in three different halls. Visitors to the opera can get guided tours in both Norwegian and English, or you can just enjoy a lovely day strolling out on the opera roof to enjoy the view of the Oslo Fjord and Oslo all year round.”

What is your go to café? ”Asylet is a neighborhood café in Oslo’s oldest wooden house, which dates back to 1730. At Asylet you get good sandwiches, simple lunch dishes and dinner - or just something good to drink. the backyard is a lovely place to be. Do you have a special place you would recommend? ”Just a few minutes away from the center of Oslo by tram is Ekebergparken Skulpturpark. The park combines a long history, beautiful nature, beautiful viewpoints and spectacular sculptures in a completely unique way. MY WAY OF LIFE - ARIANA KRA

”I don't want to waste my life wo#ying about what I can't control” EMILIE VINTHER It was tough, obviously. I basically just sat in my room my with laptop for three months. I couldn’t interview anyone in person, couldn’t go to the library or just have a break a at café. But I tried to think about the positive sides, that under normal circumstances I would had missed out on important events and seeing friends because I had to study. I had no distractions and didn’t miss out on anything because there was nothing to miss out on. So, if I was ever to sit down and write for 6 months, 2020 was the year.

Her experience gives her great insight into the values of life in

Yes, big time. I lived several years outside Denmark and I probably will again, but this pandemic really opened my eyes to the value of living in Denmark and especially close to my family and friends. Here I know whom to turn to for help, both in the public system and in my circle of family and friends. I was actually offered an international job that I declined. When the world is as it is, I can’t be that far away from my family. They are what keeps me going and we are helping each other through this time.

”Everything could be worse... We are actuay very lucky and safe in Denmark” My family and friends. But also, literature, I love to read. I always think, don’t compare yourself with others! Especially on Instagram. It best. Lately I have been very interested in Stoicism. It is an ancient philosophy that basically tells you that everything could be worse. It is not that we have a short time to live, but that we waste a lot of it on worrying about what we can’t control. I use it as a help not to think about what needs to change for the better but to think about all the good think I have in my life. How lucky we are in Denmark and how safe we actually are. I think it is human to always want more and more and more. But to stop and think about all the goods think we already have or have access to, is actually also a very rewarding challenge.

WHITE CHOCOLATE DRINK WITH MINT ”Anyone could do with a bit of self-indungence, don’t you think? This white chocolate with mint is just that. The mint just compliments the sweet white chocolate so well. Are you going to treat yourself to this cozy, warm drink? I really think you should!”

Ingredients Enough for two.

• 60 g. white chocolate • 300 ml. whole milk • 2 stalks of fresh mint • ½ tbs. vanilla powder How to: Mix all ingredients in a pot and boil while whipping constantly. The drink is ready when the chocolate has melted. Serve in your favorite cup. Yum!

Quick lunch at the home office

Rye bread toast Ingredients Enough for two. • 4 slices of ryebread • Kale • Hummus • 1 tomato • Cheese of your choice • Chorizo sausage

How to: Add your favorite hummus to the rye bread. Cut out a hand full of kale and the tomato into thin slices. Add all the items between the bread and put into your panini- or toast maker. Cook till the cheese has melted and the bred is crispy. And serve! Enjoy.

Haha, just the other day we had a big laugh when Trine showed us her cool dance moves with some crazy music.

It was a steep learning process when me and my husband both had to work from home, from one day to the other. We have two kids, and to avoid them being the victim of it all, we took turns working morning and afternoon shifts. Once we found the routine, we also found an incredible peace where we were able to really enjoy that extra time with the kids. Of course, it was combined with a lot of guilt, being quite new in my job and trying to be something for the kids. But I never saw it as a tough time, because everything was overshadowed by the fact that we did it to take care of our self and each other. I felt like it was such an important time and that helped me keep a positive mindset.

We have had a lot of focus on the amount of people we see in our family. It really adds up when we are four family members. So, we all had to cut down on agreements and that makes me worry for the friends that we don’t see right now. Are they okay and will our friendship last through this? But I love the moments I have had with my close family and the new methods we developed during the lock-down. Now my 87 years old grandma knows how to FaceTime and I can tell that even a quick call can save her day. We almost talk more to her now and that is amazing! Autumn 2021
