AUTUMN
I love Autumn. After the sweet rays of the summer sun, I am rested, restless and ready.
Autumn moods are like a symphony of changing colors and sounds - crisp air, falling leaves and a cozy sweater. Autumn is a new untouched canvas.
New trends emerge and old ones fade. This season, Autumn 2024, is filled with a wonderful mix of colors, classic items and warm materials. Especially, prints and the layer- on-layer look is at stake. We find great inspiration in the early Autumn, when the green leaves turn into vibrant shades of warm red and orange. The trees display their colorful foliage, creating a stunning contrast with the blue sky.
You have a great opportunity to find new wardrobe favorites for everyday chores and the weekends small escapades.
Look forward to this Autumn edition by ZOEY. There are plenty to be inspired by and you are guaranteed to find ideas for your new Autumn style - no matter what you need. Fit and design details are in place and you can incorporate them into your own style. The key is to find what works for you and what makes you feel confident and happy.
Fashion has no size - fashion is a form of selfexpression and Autumn is a great time to express yourself.
Have a great time with fashion and enjoy the season!
Best wishes

”Autumn calls for comfort food and it’s just all about the toppings”
This recipe is enough for 4 people.
Start with the croutons. Preheat the oven to 175C hot air. Cut the rye bread into cubes 1x1 cm. and toss them in oil and salt. Bake them on baking paper 15-20 min. Cool off. Rinse and scrub the hokkaido pumpkin well and cut it in half.
Scrape out the seeds with a spoon and cut the pumpkin with peel into rough cubes. Heat the oil in a pot or sauté pan and sauté all the vegetables, chilli, cumin and ginger over medium heat for 1-2 minutes.
Pour in vegetables broth so that it almost covers. You can always add more if the soup gets too thick. Put the lid on and let it cook for approx 18-20 min.
Blend the soup until it is completely smooth and creamy. Add lemon juice, cream and salt/peber.
Topping
Roast the pumpkin seeds in a little bit of butter at medium heat. Stir until they start to pop. Take them off the heat and sprinkle with salt. Cut the apples into small cubes, stir honey and lemon juice together and mix it with the apple cubes.
Top the soup with croutons, pumpkin seeds, thyme, apple cubes and greek yogurt. Enjoy!
Comfort food
This hokkaido Pumpkin soup is so delicious, very creamy and most importantly - easy to make. The toppings makes a great difference. Crispy autumn apples, croutons and roasted pumpkin seeds adds crunch, fresshness, salt, sweet and taste to the soup.

KENNETH ADELHARDT
Kenneth has become a part of our ZOEY family after many years of working together. He sees all good in people and we want you to know him a little bit too, so we asked him some quiestions.
What is your background?
The story is, that I moved to Milan and went to art school. I actually started out as a model but I was really bad at it - at least I think so myself. I didn’t really like to be in front of the camera. Then one of my teachers asked if I would like to make some extra money by working at a fashion show and it caught my interest.
At the show, there was a makeup artist, who was quite famous at the time. He asked if I would like to learn the craft and at first I didn’t want to, but then I said yes and then it started as a makeup artist in Milan.
”There is nothing as sexy as confidence”
What is the best part about your job? I think it is satisfying to create something that people like and I really, really like that there are so many different people. I am very curious about people and their stories.
So I like to be with lots of different people with lots of different backgrounds and lots of different stories.
And then I also like the actual craft of building up the makeup and see the r esult. I love making something that people can’t see. For example make hair look thicker, a nose more narrow or removed a bruise. I think that is fun to work with.
What’s your most memorable experience? It is enormously rewarding and lovely to work with all kind of nice people. The wildest experience must be having put makeup on Prince or the time I was in Milan, I put makeup on top model Christy Turlington, like at the time when Naomi Campbell and Helena Christensen was great top models. It was a very great experience to me.
ABOUT
Kenneth Adelhardt
What are your best beauty and styling tips?
Well, as an adult, I actually think it is a quite boring tip, but very important - you just have to remember to use sun protection and just - drink water.
And also something hugely important – remember to be yourself! There is nothing as sexy as confidence.
My best styling tip is to only apply mascara on the upper lashes. All dark colors makes less - then only mascara on the upper lashes, when you want to lift your eye.
Remember that everything dark makes things smaller and everything that is light makes things bigger. What you want to highlight, you have to add something bright, shiny, glossy or glittery. Everything you want to reduce, you have to make it matte, dark and neutral.
What do you dream about for your future?
I dream of being allowed to do this - keep doing what I am good at. Keep meeting new people. Then of course I also dream a lot of good things for my family... and for ZOEY of course.

A tribute to
DIVERSITY
What is your your background?
”I have a degree in fashion design and worked as a designer for 6 years. But restructuring and the long drive to work along with two small children at home, made me change directions. I have always had a dream of starting my own business. At the beginning I wanted to make both clothes and paintings. I started up my company in August 2019, but then came Corona. I thought, all right, I’ll just focus on painting and it gave me some peace and quiet.
At that time, I had already been contacted by a gallery about an exhibition and I launched my webshop in January 2020 with a small selection of paintings and art prints, which was quite lucky, because when people were locked in their homes in Corona time, they wanted to make changes. It suddenly took off and there have been no time to think about designing clothes since.
I still dream of making clothes, but I am also very happy to paint, so I do not feel that I compromise with what I do. I just want both.... in time.”
What do you produce?
”I make original paintings, watercolors/oil pastels. My originals are also made as art prints. I started out with a larger number of art prints, but now I only make 30-50 pieces of each original. It makes it fun to have the original painting but also the art print.”
Lisa is a very talented artist. She interprets all kinds of people. We are in love with her universe and we hope you will feel inspired too.
What inspires you?
”I have always loved to paint. When I took the design education, I had to find my DNA. I started to think it was a bit fun with the curly fingers and funny ways to stand. So that’s where it all started, that it was people i painted. They were always without hair and they still are, which makes them non-gender-specific. Some of them, you can easily be in doubt whether it is a man or a woman. I can easily give the woman a man’s name to strike a blow for diversity. If I am out of ideas, then I often look at children, because they are so immediate in their expression, there is no filter and then it is often changed to an old one or one with long breasts to symbolize the course of life. I like to bring out strong facial expressions that create a mood. It is often moods and colors that inspire me. You should definitely not be afraid of colors.”
What are your future plans?
”The big dream has been to have my own framing workshop, which we have now and it gives a lot of possibilities. I can offer different frame solutions that become part of the artwork. It is a craft in itself and requires great detail. I am in a good place and I am where I want to be.”
You have to be fast if you are looking for an original painting from Lisa Klok. Sign up for the newsletter to have an advantage.
She also have other exhibitors in her gallery where different artists complement each other quite well and create some dynamics in the gallery. Among them her sister, who also makes beautiful and creative ceramics.
How is your workflow?
”I often sketch by hand, not always, but often. I use both undyed linen and canvas for different expressions. The workflow is different, however. When I use the undyed linen as a background, it gives a different contrast, where the colors stand out in a different way. Even though they are the same characters, it still gives a different expression, which fits into different homes.
Sometimes I feel like trying something new and then I thought it would be fun to work with my works three-dimensionally. So I took some pottery courses and quickly found out that modeling sculptures was right down my alley and I can link the sculptures to the characters in my paintings.”
