Zofia Szczęsna

I'm an interdisciplinary artist. My artworks are impressions of various theories/research results in contemporary science (mostly physics and astronomy). I defended my masters in Fine Arts in 2014 (on pulsars) and PhD in 2019 (on brown dwarfs) and now I'm working at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow (Poland). I create projects that I try to make as easily available as possible for people who are not contemporary art nor science experts and yet I also aspire to maintain a high and sophisticated level of my work, so professionals could enjoy it too.
