ZOUTE EXPERIENCE Introduction Welcome to the ZOUTE EXPERIENCE, a journey in Belgium, with your beloved car during the ZOUTE GRAND PRIX WEEK. A festival of classic, vintage and premium cars in Belgium’s golden triangle. Zoute Grand Prix Week ZOUTE GRAND PRIX WEEK is all about the good life, for contenders at the wheel of their beloved automobile, art lovers, the visitors and VIP’s chasing their dreams alike. From 6 to 9 October, the ZOUTE GRAND PRIX WEEK will transform Knokke-Heist, Bruges and Ostend, three coastal cities, into the Walhalla of the automobile, art and lifestyle. A variety of different events such as a rally for vintage and classic cars, a tour for new premium cars, a sale by Bonhams, a concours d’élégance and an exposition of art and art on four wheels.
Priceless Experience During the ZOUTE EXPERIENCE, you can taste the atmosphere of the different events and discover the cities on top of it. We have put together a program, especially for you and your club, that will take you to the highlights of this renown art and automobile event, over winding roads and past green and golden fields, at the wheel of your own new or classic car. The central point of this weekend is Bruges, Unesco World Heritage, the most charming city of Belgium.
3 CITIES, 1 EXPERIENCE Knokke Heist Knokke-Heist is particularly renowned for its laid-back lifestyle. Many of its luxurious mansions and charming villas are owned by prominent members of Belgium’s social, corporate and artistic life. The most luxurious part of town, Le Zoute, is renowned for its classy shops, stylish brand flagship stores, comfy hotels, cosy restaurants and art galleries. Due to its unique situation, the resort enjoys a year-round mild microclimate. Knokke-Heist is easily accessible from all major European cities.
Bruges Bruges, the Venice of the North, is located in the northwest corner of Belgium. The historic city is a prominent World Heritage Site of UNESCO. With its treelined avenues, hushed cobbled streets, narrow alleys, huge squares for its many events, and characterful corners, discovering Bruges’ unique places is a feast for the eyes. Some hidden, others magnificent, all calling for your attention. Places that combine history and joie de vivre. In short, streets and squares full of stories where you’ll want to linger for hours.
Ostend Ostend is known for its sea-side esplanade, including the Royal Galleries of Ostend and fine-sandy beaches. Ostend is also known as the Belgian Queen of seaside resorts and is the most important coastal town of Belgium. The city has a large fishing port and a popular marina, beautiful designed parks, crowded shopping streets, markets and countless numbers of bars, discotheques and clubs. The Golden Triangle

DAY 2 SATURDAY 8 OCTOBER 08:30 – 10:30 Rally from Bruges – Damme - Cadzand What celebration of classic cars would the ZOUTE GRAND PRIX be without a proper rally tour? You’ll spend an exciting morning in the Belgian countryside where winding roads guide you and your fellow pilots through a fall scenery in shades of green and orange, and everything in between. The smell of gasoline, the feeling of the steering wheel at your fingertips, and the company of some of the finest cars ever built: a perfect ride from start to finish. 12:00 – 14:00 Lunch @ Blanke Top, Cadzand (NL) Just across the border with The Netherlands lies Cadzand, a Knokke resident’s favourite day trip destination. Its Dutch hospitality and exquisite seaside cuisine are just some of the reasons to get behind the wheel - in Knokke-Le-Zoute, and drive those few miles up to refreshing Cadzand.
DAY 2 SATURDAY 8 OCTOBER 15:00 – 17:00 Prado Bruges - Visit & Cocktail @ Bruges PRADO BRUGES boasts a fantastic exposition of art and vintage and classic cars in a unique location, a specially designed ‘Grand Palais’ at ‘t Zand in Bruges. A palace of glass, where you can admire beautiful cars and art, with a view on Bruges’ extraordinary skyline. Not your everyday fair, but a stylishly designed open space that is tied together by the incredible cars on display, and by the selection of professional experts-exhibitors. 19:30 – 00:00 Exclusive dinner @ Stadshallen, Bruges Come and enjoy the dinner on the occasion of the GT TOUR. A perfect night, gathering car and art enthusiast during a refined dinner. Wonderful wines and champagne will be served. During the prize-giving ceremony the winners of the GT Tour will be honoured.
DAY 3 SUNDAY 9 OCTOBER 9:00 - 11:00 Free time in Bruges Enjoy your free time in this beautiful city. We offer you a boat trip or carriage ride in Bruges (optional). Plenty other things to do and visit in Bruges, such as wandering around the tiny white plastered houses of The Béguinage. And don’t forget to pick up some heavenly Belgian chocolate, or sip from a freshly poured Belgian beer! 12:00 – 14:00 ZOUTE CONCOURS D’ELEGANCE by EY – Visit & guided tour @ Royal Zoute Golf Club A baffling display of over 75 exclusive vintage and classic cars and an impressive collection of works of art, for everyone to be enjoyed on the freshly mown lawns of the Royal Zoute Golf Club. Automobile design and art at its finest! Old design marvels, side by side, taking a shot at those coveted first places in various categories — some of these contenders have to be seen to be believed. Come as a spectator or a demanding judge, and celebrate the most exclusive cars on the planet.
DAY 3 SUNDAY 9 OCTOBER 14:00 – 17:00 ZOUTE SALE by Bonhams – Visit & Live Auction @ PRADO ZOUTE After lunch we return to PRADO ZOUTE, where the ZOUTE SALE by Bonhams will take place. A prestigious international auction of fine and rare collectors’ motor cars. We close the ZOUTE GRAND PRIX EXPERIENCE with this internationally renowned auction. We bid you farewell with stomachs satisfied, thirst quenched and hearts full.
