NEW DESIGN

INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR THE CRUISE INDUSTRY Harding Safety is now launching a brand new series of products for the cruise industry. After extensive market research and discussions with market leaders, we are proud to introduce not only a market leading new lifeboat with a capacity of 440 persons, but also a new 330 person lifeboat and an.extremely adaptable tender and several davit solutions for these two boats.

330 and 440 persons lifeboat Our new 330 and 440 person lifeboats with a total length of only 12,5 and 15 meters are extremely compact and space-saving. The 440 person lifeboat offers an innovative new interior layout with two separate decks and four embarkation doors on the side. The two-deck layout ensures a less stressful environment in a critical situation. The four separate doors simplifies and speeds the boarding process of the lifeboat while ensuring headcount is correct.

270 person tender Our new tender with an overall length of 17,5 meters offers an extremely adaptable interior, giving the ship owners the possibility to tailor the tendering experience they want to offer with interior options such as panoramic windows, skylights, individual reclining seats, self-service bar, lavatory, AV-system, etc. The catamaran hull ensures a speedy and comfortable tendering experience with excellent maneuvering capabilities for the crew.

REFURBISHMENTS

REFINISHING AND REFURBISHMENT BY HARDING As the years pass by and conditions at sea take their toll, maritime lifesaving equipment deteriorate. First and foremost, in terms of their looks, but also in terms of functionality, durability and operational readiness. To combat this aging process, refinishing or refurbishment is the answer. Refinishing or refurbishment of lifeboats, davits and winches has long been a vital part of Harding’s services. With the company’s offensive to strengthen its major hubs worldwide, Harding is now positioned to offer complete refurbishments at our facilities in Europe, Asia, South- and North Americas, and in the Middle East. Refurbishing a lifeboat can include everything from renovation and repair of exterior and interior surfaces to engine overhaul/replacement and installation of new windows. Harding also offers a «light version» of the refurbishment service – labeled “refinishing”. This makeover focuses mainly on cosmetic measures like painting, polishing and waxing, using high quality marine grade epoxy paints. This allows Harding to provide a quality that shines, ensuring that cruise lifeboats look their best on the ship’s side. Harding performs refurbishment and refinishing on both a smaller and a larger scale, all over the world. Harding takes different approach to refinishing. Rather than dicating a specific work scope, Harding surveys each individual vessel’s LSA equipment and talks to the staff and adminstration to custom design the correct package for each client. Some vessel’s might only need the canopy repainted and the hull polished on all of the boats, while others might need a complete refinishing for their tenders but their lifeboats and fast rescues boats are in good shape. No two vessels are the same and it is all about catering to the needs of the customer.

Harding offers a wide range of refinishing and refurbishment services for lifeboats and tenders. Some of our more popular packages include: Canopy refinishing work and hull polishing/detailing Fiberglass repair and refinishing Complete refurbishment
