The tenders should reach the office of the Executive Engineer P.H.E Mechanical Division. Srinagar on or before up to 2PM. The tenderers are advised to cast their tenders by hand. In case, the date of receipt of tenders is declared a holiday or curfew etc. The tenders shall be received on next working day at specified time. The lenders shall be opened on the same day or any other convenient date by the undersigned in presence of contractor/firm who wishes to be present at the time tender opening. The application along with complete documentary proof as per the terms and conditions of NIT shall be submitted to the office of the undersigned on 21.08.2014 up to 2PM and the tender documents shall be issued to the firm after proper verification of documents on 23.08.2014 against the cash payment as specified above. The issuance of the tender documents shall be considered in favour of those firms whose applications are supported with Fresh self-attested copies of the following documents:01
Latest Sales Tax Clearance Certificate or Sales Tax return( on Form -64) of the latest Quarter showing Tin .No therein.

Registration as works contractor with j&k Sales Tax Department or any other competent Authority.
03 Experience of having executed work of similar nature in the shape of Allotment order and Completion Certificate issued by the Completion Authority (Not less than the rank of Executive Engineer) The rates quoted by the contractor/firm shall remain valid for a period of six months from the date of opening of the tenders. The tenderers should quote their rates in the tender document issued from this office only and the rates quoted should be written in both figures and words against each item without any correction and duly covered by transparent tapes Ambiguous and conditional tenders shall be rejected outright. The tender shall be accompanied with' an earnest money "as mentioned above in shape of CDR which shall be pledged in favour of the Executive Engineer P.H.E Mechanical Division Srinagar. The tenders received without CDR /less CDR shall be rejected. The Executive Engineer reserves the right to accept, or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reasons thereof. All other terms and conditions shall remain the same as laid down in the PWD form 25 and 33 double leaf.
