Applicant Eligibility

To apply for these internships, applicants must fit the following eligibility:

- Ethnic minorities in Hong Kong

- Hold Hong Kong identity card and with the right to work in Hong Kong (i.e. no work visa is needed)

- NOT International / Exchange student

- 18 – 26 years old

- Currently studying in tertiary education (i.e. High Diploma, Associate Degree, Top Up Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree)

- This is not for Secondary School / Form 6 students taking DSE in 2023.

About the Internship Options

The Zubin Foundation has reached out to companies and organizations in different sectors and industries, sharing the internship idea. Gratefully, some internship roles offered by the companies are particularly created for this Emerging Talent Summer Internship project – that means they are looking for ethnic minority like YOU especially giving the chance to grow and shine! Some of the posts are open to wider population, and you will have to compete.

Duration

2 weeks – 2 months (between May and Sep 2023)

Stipend and Salary

For these internship roles, The Company Host will provide you with a stipend Provision of a minimum of HK$380 per day as stipend for students for lunch and travelling OR the company will offer you a salary. Please refer to the Stipend/Salary section under each job.

The Zubin Foundation is a think tank and registered charity in Hong Kong (IR 91/12344), named after Zubin Mahtani Gidumal. We aim at improving the lives of Hong Kong’s ethnic minorities by reducing suffering and providing opportunities. We do this by outreach in the community and driving systemic change.
