From Title Sponsor Foreword
Since its establishment, The Zubin Foundation has played a significant role in improving the lives of marginalised ethnic minorities in Hong Kong.
I am pleased to see the Foundation going from strength to strength over the years under visionary leadership and adaptive management. Up to date, it offers a wide range of services for the ethnic minorities, including “Call Mira” and “Desi Girl Friendship Circle” for women and girls, a SEN Centre and Parent Workshops for children with special education needs and their families, to name but a few. I wish the Foundation continued success in the years ahead!

From The Zubin Foundation
Dear Friends,
Thank you for being here at The Zubin Foundation’s Annual Fundraising Dinner 2022. The theme tonight is Celebration of Colour as we come together after 3 years to celebrate Hong Kong’s rich ethnic diversity and the resilience of the ethnic minority community.
Tonight, 100% of your donations will go directly towards our work at The Zubin Foundation. This is thanks to the generous donation of our Title Sponsor, Auntie Purviz and the late Uncle Rusy, who are kindly underwriting all costs this evening. I am deeply grateful. I am also grateful to the Hyatt Regency, Tsim Sha Tsui, for being our Venue Partner tonight and in particular their General Manager Per Kredner and his amazing team for their support.
Our ethnic minority community are a linguistic and cultural minority, often overlooked. Last year, The Zubin Foundation served 20,000 women, men and children from low-income families. Although numbers are important, they don't tell the full story. What we did at The Zubin Foundation was improve lives. We gave food to families so children would not go hungry. We helped hundreds of women in crisis when they had no one to talk to. We gave youth training, so they could get jobs and internships. We helped children and adults with depression, anxiety and stress with free counselling so they could have some chance of achieving their potential. We were there for our community and will continue to be.
In order to do this work, we need your help. Tonight, I hope you will give generously to the ethnic minority community of Hong Kong to help reduce their suffering and provide them with opportunities. Thank you to Don Taylor, the Chair of the Fundraising Committee, all the Fundraising Committee members and my board of directors. Tonight is a testament to your commitment to all that we do at The Zubin Foundation.
Thank you to you, our friend and supporter, for being here tonight.
