Utilizing exclusive materials, advanced engineering and a 3 year warranty, we’re dedicated to meeting the needs of the most demanding riders everywhere. P-Tex UHMW Tip & Tail Protectors – We pioneered the use of P-tex in the sidewalls of our snowboards for durability and ease of repair. Adding the same proven P-tex tip and tail bumpers provides a level of protection and durability not found in any other longboard on the market. STS/SK8 – We use our exclusive STS/SK8 fiberglass in all of our skateboards. This pre-hardened, pre-tensioned, layered laminate is the world’s best fiberglass and only Never Summer has it. It keeps the flex pattern of your longboard consistent from day one until you have to retire the deck to get on some of the new designs we will be coming out with in the years to come. VLAC (Vertically Laminated Aspen Core) – Utilizing our in-house wood working facility we manufacture a strong, light, vertically laminated aspen core for all of our longboards. Borrowing from our proven core technology used in snowboards we have adapted our Flight Core characteristics to make our VLAC, a solid and responsive platform for longboards. Bi-Lite/SK8 – The Bi-Lite/SK8 is a very snappy and light fiberglass that adds strength and response in our longboards. Hard Rock Maple – Our maple veneers are supplied by Great Lakes Veneer. These hard maple laminates are engineered for Never Summer to our exact specifications including quality, thickness and moisture content. Rubber Damping is utilized in all of our longboards to absorb vibrations from the trucks to offer a smooth, stable ride and reduce high speed wobbles.
