Local, longboards, handcrafted B² longboards is an artisanal manufacture dedicated to longboarding and its evolution in different forms and disciplines. With this purpose we support a team of local riders, as well as various skateboard events and sessions. Thanks to this cohesion, we are able to offer some of the most technical decks in France and Europe. Our goal is to share and to stay close to our job, our passion, without falling into the pitfalls of mass production. Skate with attitude!

Local Be squared supports a team made up of 6 young riders, from 15 to 25 years old, each of whom excels in their category, but who are also curious about other skateboard disciplines. With a shaper that also happens to be a passionate rider, and shares with them both his experience and knowledge. Be Squared is present on downhill and slalom events as well as skateboard initiation sessions and at the side of skate shops to animate their longboard departments.
Longboards The collaboration between the rider and the shaper has allowed to develop a full line of different shapes and sandwiches specifically designed to answer the criteria of each discipline of longboarding. B² offers boards for carving, freeriding, cruising… boards that are ready to undergo the repeated assaults of any rider. We make boards on which you will be just as comfortable racing at 100km/h, than jumping a gap. Boards that will help you evolve and give you confidence. Our boards, your boards are not meant to be hung on a wall but they are meant to live and be ridden. B² is technical by its choice of its sandwiches, composed of beech, bamboo and fiberglass. The results are rather flexible and reactive decks for our carving boards and rather stiff and neutral decks for our speed boards. Handcrafted Like any artisanal manufacture where work is done by hand, and not by machine, each board is unique, signed and annotated by the shaper. A particular attention is given to each board, so you have more than just a simple piece of wood, you have a piece of the team, of the workshop, and of B² under your feet. Since our inception, many of the decks that have come out of our workshop have been updated and improved, and this is because we remain careful to always listen to our partners and riders.
The Peixe (pronounced /ˈpejʃe/, fish in Portuguese) is a mini cruiser, and is different from the other plastic boards that have popped up everywhere this summer. Originally minis are skateboards from the 70’s, and with the same spirit of difference and originality we wanted to make the Peixes unique, and give each series its own specific colors, finishes and sandwiches.

You can expect some good surprises! As far as riding goes, the Peixe offers a kicktail, a slight nose, concave and a construction without fiberglass. The board is stiff and lightweight. All you will need to have fun cruising around the city.
The Medecine² is a dropped deck designed for carving and steezy riding. It proves very versatile and will let you get some good speed with confidence, while also being very agile in an urban environment. Its lowered gravity center will make you comfortable to push and stay stable and its symmetry will give you more room for your feet. SLALOM NOT DEAD The Slalom not dead is a board that comes from a radically technical discipline. Developed in collaboration with Jules G Blaive, B² Longboard team rider, this slalom board is meant to be both fun and fast. The board has a concave, a wedge on the front truck, as well as a tail and a 360° nose. The rear foot will quickly settle in on the tail and the edge of the concave. At the front you’ll find a concave that finishes with a double convexe on the nose.

The Rock is a dropped deck, designed for freeride
TOPMOUNT
and downhill. Its flatcave and drop-through, will give you stability and ergonomics. Your position will be spontaneous and comfortable. Its slight tail and nose will make your manuals and shove-its easy, so you can pop a few tricks in between runs. The Rock comes in two versions that have their own characteristics; the Topmount and the Drop-through.
The Topmount version is a freeride machine; your feet are locked into the board, you feel the edge of the concave right under your foot, and then you throw a nice smooth powerslide. Everything’s cool. You’re on a Rock. For Downhill its large platform and its low ground clearance will reassure you. This board will turn out to be more agile, more reactive and has more grip than the drop-through version.

Drop-through
The drop-through version will ride a little more like a snowboard. The board will easily trigger powercarves, just like on snow! For Downhill, it’s a rail, a pure speedboard, that will require a good deal of anticipation for braking. Light and low, this deck turns out to be really easy to push on both long and very long distances. So don’t forget your back pack!

Cut-out
Wheal clearances; avoids any chance of wheelbite.
Dancing
Discipline that consists in realizing dance moves (steps) and acrobatics (tricks) while riding your longboard.
Downhill/DH
Discipline consisting in going down a hill as fast as possible.
Drop-through
The truck is fixed through the board. This type of set-up lowers the board, makes it more stable and easier to trigger slides.
Triaxial fiberglass
Reinforcement on 3 axes ; avoids both longitudinal and torsional deformations..
Flatcave
A concave that is built in such a way that the board is flat on a central width of 10-11cm with two inclined faces on either side.

Freeride
Discipline that combines the speed of downhil and the execution of slides and powerslides
Pintail
Classic board shape in the form of a teardrop.
Powerslide/Slide
Technique that consists in slowing down by putting the board perpendicular to the road.
Pushing
Discipline that consists in pushing long distances on a longboard.
Shred
An equivalent to freeride. Shredding = Busting big fat slides and tricks while riding at fast speeds.
Topmount
Classic truck mounting as opposed to drop-through.
