Going offline allows you to create memories with friends worth remembering for a lifetime. Life is too short to let these moments pass by. Â For us, snowboarding is our escape and one of the few things we do that truly allows us to be offline, focusing only on the next turn, side hit, tweak, hike, carve, pow slash, or high five. During this past year, we have spent more time offline, creating and testing products that will allow you to have fun with friends no matter where you are in the world. NITRO MISSION STATEMENT Snowboarding is what got us here and giving back to snowboarding is what keeps us here. We are dedicated to develop the best products, act like a family, make conscious decisions, and encourage people to break out of their everyday routines and do something worth remembering. SNOWBOARDING IS WHAT GOT US HERE Nitro was founded by Thomas Delago and Sepp Ardelt in 1990 at Veras Cafe in Seattle, Washington. Two snowboarders who were interested in progressing their passion for being in the mountains, by creating products and technologies to make snowboarding more accessible for everyone. GIVING BACK TO SNOWBOARDING We take pride in supporting the retailers, community, and structure that has gotten snowboarding to where it is today, by not selling direct online. We believe it is important to share the profits with every level of the snowboard community from local distributions, designers, reps, retailers, shop kids, and team riders. These are the key people building and sustaining our local snowboard communities.We believe this helps support the local snowboard communities to continue to thrive and inspire more young rippers to get out on the mountain and to keep the snowboard legacy strong for decades to come. Snowboarding is a multilevel community and we do our best to support these micro and macro communities though our kids camps, „Run To The Hills“ events, team riders, snowboard media support, snowboard enthusiasts, snowboard park sponsorships, and grassroots level sponsorships. WHAT KEEPS US HERE The search for new ideas, the hunt for the best product, the perfect ride, accelerating progression, being creative and moving fast, chasing the next evolution, living the uncertain adventure of the snowboarding industry. Getting to ride fresh pow when others check their emails is always a bonus. Being part of a community that shares the same endless enthusiasm and supportive nature is the most inspiring reason to continue for another 30 years. We are all in this together! BEST PRODUCTS We are constantly working on making products that make it easier, more fun, affordable and enjoyable to go snowboarding, while focusing on progressing the technology and design to help keep up with the progression of snowboarding our team riders and employees demand. When you snowboard you have the freedom to go anywhere and we use this same mindset while searching for new technologies, creative designs, artwork, and developing our products. ACT LIKE A FAMILY Since day one, Nitro has been run like a family. Employees have equal opportunity to give their input and decision making transparency is something we take pride in. Team riders are some of the most important members of the Nitro family because these are the guys and girls who help us progress product, content, events, and initiatives in the right and relevant direction. They allow us to stay authentic and engaged in the everevolving world of snowboarding.
MAKE CONSCIOUS DECISIONS We know that the community and environment are what allows us and our fellow snowboarders to enjoy deep pow days, early morning groomers, and lift rides or split tracks any day of the week, so we consciously question ever process to see how we can improve a sustainable future for the snowboard community. We know that building our products create pollution in our environment, so we continuously work to reduce and offset these effects. This philosophy does not only apply to our eco-initiatives but also the business side - we are always looking for ways to strengthen the current snowboard retail and community landscape to make sure future generations will have the same passionate people involved in their snowboard scene as we did. ENCOURAGE PEOPLE Everything we do from product to content should motivate people to break out of their daily routines and go snowboarding. Through fun and user-friendly products, creative designs, authentic interactions, inspiring content, constant searching for the next groundbreaking technology, and showcasing how fun and inclusive snowboarding is. SNOWBOARDING Our Offline Philosophy For the past 31 years, Nitro has created snowboard products that help people have confidence and more fun on the mountain. Over the last few years, the digital world has started to take all of our precious free time and we believe that it is important that Nitro does its best to help motivate people to get offline and out snowboarding. Our Run To The Hills campaign was created to motivate people to just get on the mountain, and now we are continuing this message through motivating people to get OFFLINE through snowboarding. OFFLINE means taking a break from the hectic world we live in, by disconnecting and reconnecting with the people and experiences that truly matter, and creating memories worth remembering. No matter how you do this, it is just important that you take some time for your self and enjoy real life. For us, the easiest way to truly get offline is to go snowboarding with new and old friends. Snowboarding is our escape back to reality and we hope it can be your escape as well.

OVER THREE DECADES OF SNOWBOARD R&D For the last 31 years, Nitro has been pushing the boundaries of snowboard shapes and performance. From the first swallowtailed RETRO, the introduction of the first asymmetrical twin, the PYRO, asym race boards, twin-tipped longboards like the DIABLO, the legendary T1 with RailKiller edges and the first splitboards in the early ’90s, we have always been an ambassador for fun innovative and functional board shapes. Swallowtails have always been a part of our interpretation of snowboarding’s surfinspired heritage and still are a part of the line today, in the highly progressive QUIVER SERIES and SQUASH FAMILY. Making snowboards for some of the world´s best male and female snowboarders over the last 31 years has given us the experience and expertise in board design to offer a wide variety of performance and style in our 2021/22 board collection. We take pride in offering a broad snowboard line-up that has the right board for every type of snowboarder out there because we are snowboarders and we know that everyone has their unique style.

“The first time I got to be part of the product development was back in 2005 when designing my first pro model with Nitro. I didnt know much about the tech aspects of snowboards, but i knew exactly which boards worked the best for my riding, so i picked two of my favorite boards from the existing line and asked Tommy to do his magic and form those two boards into one! When designing a board, my involvement has always been more about the graphics. It usually starts off with getting an idea and handing few inspiration photos over to the graphic designer. Then I´ll sit back and wait a couple weeks for the first drafts and that´s where the project really starts. When you see something it´s way easier to say what you like about it and what you don´t. So from there on it´s fine tuning back and forth till all the parties are satisfied with the result! URESHRED SIDEWALLS New on all Nitro park boards, we are introducing our URESHRED sidewall: Just like Skate wheels and bushings, these sidewalls are made from Polyurethane, which makes them highly resistant against impact and abrasion as well as giving them excellent dampening characteristics. POWER PODS Overlaying a tighter sidecut radius in the center of the board with a larger one towards tip and tail is creating our exclusive POWERPODS which have two amazing effects: On one hand, there is extended board width under the bindings, resulting in additional edge control, especially on hard and icy surfaces as well as simply less toe and heel drag for larger boots and flatter stance angles. We have decided to cut the crap and keep snowboarding simple by simplifying our camber names and technologies to only those that work, and that are approved by our regional and global team riders, and friends. That is why we have chosen to offer the four camber profiles that really work, and we are not overcomplicating things by micro-slicing and renaming them – Even though all of our camber profiles are adjusted to match the type of person or terrain the boards are designed for, but TRUE camber is camber, Gullwing is Gullwing, Flat-Out is Flat-Out, and Cam-Out is Cam-Out. Real camber technology that works and does not need a marketing scheme to prove it.
TRÜE CAMBER Trüe Camber is good old standard camber, which provides the stability, and pop many shreds can´t live without. The amount of snap and support you get from a cambered board is unrivalled by any other camber design. Our Trüe Camber varies between board models because each board is specifically designed for a certain terrain or type of riding, for example the Trüe Camber in our Pantera has a larger height for maximum response, while the Trüe Camber in our freestyle boards are lower to provide you with a more freestyle friendly flex, without losing the support and trust you need for stomping landings. Camber is Camber there is no point in over complicating it! CAM-OUT CAMBER Our Cam-Out Camber is basically a Trüe Camber with early and smooth transitions into tip and tail. The result is a fun and responsive board that turns on the spot and is forgiving, even after that 713.5° landing! FLAT-OUT ROCKER Our Flat-Out Rocker is a hybrid flat camber profile where the nose and tail lift off before the traditional contact points, providing effortless turns, and catch-free maneuvers. The lifted nose and tail provide excellent float, pressability, and forgiveness in any terrain. The ultimate hybrid between Zero Camber and Reverse Camber to allow you to have the most playful yet stabile ride for easy progression and all-mountain domination. The profile of choice for park, freestyle, and urban riders worldwide. GULLWING ROCKER A hybrid camber/rocker profile in a league of its own, Gullwing Rocker offers the best of both worlds for the all-mountain destroyer. The positive camber under each foot supplies riders with the response they know and love while the reverse camber profile in the center allows you to experience unparalleled float in the powder, as well as pressability in the park. This do-it-all design allows you to have a quiver of one and ride the whole mountain like a terrain park
SIDECUTS
Sidecuts are as important to a board’s performance as flex and camber/rocker lines. A sidecut defines how a board turns, carves and holds an edge. But, it’s the combination of all the features that make a board work well for it’s designed purpose. Nitro has pioneered most of today’s common sidecut geometries and has access to over 30 years of experience of fine-tuning each board model. This is why we felt it is important for us to simplify the tech jungle for you. You can get a first taste of what the shapes will feel like, but you can leave it up to our engineers to make each board just right for you!
PROGRESSIVE SIDECUT A larger radius in the front, blended into a tighter one towards the tail: The progressive sidecut makes accelerating out of turns a breeze, while maintaining a catch-free nose area.
RADIAL SIDECUT The simplest and most common of all sidecuts: One single radius makes this sidecut extremely versatile and predictable.
BOARD TECH
DUAL DEGRESSIVE SIDECUT This sidecut blends a smaller radius in the center with two larger ones in the tip and tail, making it loose and playful. Nitro´s most forgiving sidecut.

Highly tuned yet extremely durable, SPEED FORMUL A II Base technology is exclusively featured on Nitro high-end boards.
SINTERED SPEED FORMULA BASE: HIGH DENSITY - HIGH DURABILITY Utilizing a new base material compound, we have been able to achieve higher abrasion resistance, increased wax absorption and higher onsnow speeds.
SINTERED SPEED FORMULA II DAMAST BASE: FAST, DURABLE and UNIQUE! Made from the same compound as our regular SPEED FORMUL A II Base, the DAMAST version fuses together two died color version for a look as sharp as your Damast steel dagger. Each board is unique, and no two bases are exactly identical.
FLEX PROFILES
The third component in a board’s performance is flex. Softer boards are easier turning, stiffer ones better for higher speeds. But it’s the combination with camber and sidecut that makes a board magic – or trash. TLS 5 TWIN LACING SYSTEM Nitro leading the pack with the TLS 5 lacing system: Easy lace engagement and release, combined with the low abrasion of our Dyneema® laces are the key factors of this highly reliable zonal lacing system. At the same time, the TLS 5 features compact size and low weight while maintaining the reliability proven by tens of thousands of days on the mountain. Even though rarely needed, servicing and replacement of all parts including the lace are easier than with any other system on the market. Even using a standard lace if you‘re in a pinch is an option only available on Nitro‘s TLS boots. RE/LACE LINER LOCKER Another innovation from our friendly R&D department at Nitro: The RE/L ACE Liner Locker provides easy adjustability of your inner boot lacing when your boot shell is already tightened (tied), by just pulling up on the lace handle. This allows you to (re)tighten your liner and foothold throughout the day (wherever you may find yourself on the mountain) without having to untie your boot.
ORTHOLITE® FOOTBEDS Together with OrthoLite®, the World’s Leading Supplier of Open-Cell Foam Insole Technology, we have developed footbeds in dual and triple density versions for different levels of support and comfort: OrthoLite® compresses less than 5% with excellent levels of shock absorption and energy return. Fit and comfort inside the boot will remain consistent for the life of the OrthoLite® product. The unique open cell structure of OrthoLite® also creates a moisture management system inside the boot by moving moisture away from the foot leaving your feet drier. When the foot is removed from the shoe any remaining moisture dries very quickly due to the airflow allowed by the open cell network in the foam. OrthoLite® contains a patented anti-microbial formulation to fight fungus, bacteria, and odor. The biocide is added during formulation so that it is linked to the foam and will not wear off or lose effectiveness over time. The Aegis anti-microbial treatment is EPA and FDA approved. OrthoLite® is extremely lightweight providing optimum performance and without adding excess weight to the boot. OrthoLite® is completely washable and will not hydrolyze. Just throw them in your washing machine and they come out like new.
