“It’s always been my dream to touch lots of people. Likewise, it’s been my frustration to figure out a way to accomplish that. So when photography fell into my lap in 2011, I was elated. Finally a way to express my thoughts besides using “boring old words” So my photography represents emotion. It represents purpose. It represents fulfillment. To amuse, intrigue, and inspire are my intent for the viewer of my images as well as the subjects in them. I love shooting weddings. I love shooting models. I love shooting families. Who are you and what do you do? Our names are Kelby and Kelvin Vera and we represent Veratwinsart. We are visual artists that work separately as well as together. How do you two create art together, in terms of the process from beginning to end? We begin by brainstorming and combining our ideas together. We then decide who will sketch the idea. Once that is done, we begin to create/pick colors that will suit the painting. We start painting from opposite ends and thatâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s how our paintings come to life.

What role does the artist have in society? I strongly believe Veratwinsart expresses courage; meaning my brother and I want others to feel confident and have the courage to go after what they want to pursue in life. What art do you most identify with? We identify mostly with pop art and abstract art. Our paintings consists of vivid colors as well as an immense amount of shapes. What themes do you pursue? Veratwinsart paint many celebrities from The Weeknd, Fetty Wap, Kanye West bear, to

having a story being told to each painting. What is your dream project? The Vera bros dream project is to work in a foreign country and do a painting that will have a positive message that will inspire others to do better letting them know they can do what they want in life.
