I’m Hung, Chiao-Chen. There are four people in my family. My father works in the bank, and my mother is a housewife. However, my mother loves to travel, and due to her passion for travel, she took me to Japan, China, America, Germany and Italy. Since these various experiences of each jo\urney, I become immersed in the interest of trying new things.Before entering the university, I was a bookworm. I spent most of my time studying to attend superior junior and senior high school. Though I learned lots of knowledges, I started to ponder what kind of life I want. And Architecture becomes the path I chose. I likes the thrill of solving the problem in space, function and human scale. It is a profession which needs to be considered between art and pragmatic side, and I enjoy it a lot.Currently, I am in the third year of majoring in architecture in Chung Yuan Christian University. Through these three years’ practicing, aesthetic design which I learned in my first year accord me the influence of the following architectural design. By repeatedly drawing and correcting the works, I not only got the point of housing design, but also knew the skills and importance of landscape design in the next two years. Architecture is a field that includes many specialties, for example, both rationality and sensibility should be flexibly used in each work.One of the H toU give N Gpresentations for the work I made. Therefore, I participated the choir competition and became the department of architecture’s leader in the next year. Although we only got the second prize, I realized how to manage a team, and how to allocate the time for the more essential assignment.Last summer, I rounded Taiwan by train by myself. Even though I had already visited some places before, I perceived something differences that time, for instance, the human activity and human taste. Since it was a single travel, I had a lot of time meditating. I tried to figure out what I was pursuing and what kind of person could I be. Though I didn’t have the clear answer, I believed that live in the moment will be the solution.All in all, I will try my best to pursue my goals in the future.
