CONCEPT NEW AXES_MAIN FEATURES : - CENTRALITY_axes cross the 3 rings that characterize the historical pattern of development of the city. - ORDER_axes connect a series of new projects that have been identified as new polarities outside the centre of the city. -VARIETY_axes connect different areas with very different features (sprawled city / former industrial areas / agricultural aeras / rural areas...)

AXES_RHYTHM ANALYSIS - CONTINUITY_axes were straightened & considered as continuos linear paths.

- TWO-DIMENSIONAL_axes were analized as a succession of fill & void spaces in plan to understand the first level of interference with the linearity of the paths.

- DIVISION_axes were divided into left side & right side to underline the relations between the different sides of the paths & their interferences. - DIAGRAM_each side of the axis is represented by a diagram that gives an idea of the rhythm as a series of compression & expansion of the space perception. - COMPARISON_diagrams were divided into fill space and void space, transformed into regions to give "density" to the rhythm, and were put in comparison. - SELECTION_it has been isolated some intervals that represent extreme situation such as homogeneous spaces, symmetrical spaces... that will be analized deeply.
