CHAPTER 2:

ORIGAMI SPACE AND POST-WAR RECONSTRUCTION (2020)

TUTOR: LUO CHANG Everyone once had a spiritual home and the need to escape from reality in their hearts. When the war erupted, all of these turned into a desire for a “paradise”. The number of homeless people climbed to the peak, but there was no place left for the desperate yearning for a good life. The space they need should not only meet the requirements of shelters, but can be built rapidly by people, and provide functions such as relaxation and entertainment. We handed them a variety of "paradise" manuals to choose from, in order to present the immortal “paradise” to those who are desperate to escape from the real life. Aims and objective: Fast post-war space reconstruction through origami, all war countries can spontaneously build according to the instructions.

CHAPTER 3: TIANXINGZHOU (2020)

TUTOR: LUO CHANG

As the boundary area of the vast space in the city, it is often forgotten because of the mistaken prediction from the city. Under post-urbanism, how can the underbridge residents on the island reestablish their sense of belonging to the city? We seek for all dialogue spaces that may trigger positive effects in the space. We want to deconstruct the seasonal ecological regulation of the landscape functional block in the vertical direction, to rebuild the possibility of interpersonal communication, to call for the focus point of sights of information exchange in the city, and to welcome a coming multi-layer dialogue.

Aims and objective: By re-deconstructing the vertical seasonal ecological adjustment of the landscape area, the residents under the bridge return to their sense of belonging to the city.
