YOUNG PEOPLE HOLD THE KEY TO THE FUTURE AIESEC is a global, non-political, independent, not-for-profit organization run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. Its members are interested in world issues, leadership and management. AIESEC does not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion or national/ social origin. In order to address the world’s leadership gap, AIESEC is offering the world’s most advanced leadership framework for young people, by providing young people with hands-on experiences as well as providing spaces to reflect on these experiences, learn from them, and through them be come better leaders. Since we were founded, we have engaged and developed over 1,000,000 young people who have been through an AIESEC experience. The impact of our organization can be seen through our alumni who represent business, NGO and world leaders, including one Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Maarti Atisaari of Finland 126 Countries & Territories 6,000+ corporate placements annually 20,000+ volunteer placements annually 2,400 Universities 70,000 Members 1 million+ Alumni 8,000 Partner Organizations 500 Conferences annually
East African Pioneers Congress
2015 , ETHIOPIA The East African Pioneers Congress is a 5 day Conference that will take place from October 26th - October 30th 2015 that seeks to create a rigorous learning environment through dialogues and exchange sessions on leadership development. The theme of the congress will be Covering topics spanning education, self-leadership, soft skills and cultural diversity, Pioneers Congress 2015 invites both local and foreign delegates to engage in in-depth conversations regarding critical leadership issues affecting youth across the East African region, Africa in general and the world today. In an effort to create more interaction and learning between delegates and corporate partners. By working with us, you will be joining us in celebrating youth leadership and diversity being elevated in our AIESEC network across the globe.

Opening ceremony is the official opening of congress with participation of almost 300 participants from East African Pioneers Congress, government officials, congress partners, successful businessmen and media representatives. This event will be held on the 26th of October.

Global Village Composition of Delegates This is the biggest cultural event for delegates and is open to all residents and guests of Ethiopia who will have opportunity to get acquainted with cultures of different nationalities from different countries through interactive exhibitions. Before the conference starts, all countries which are attending at the conference will showcase themselves to all the delegates and the public in forms of traditional food, informative material, pictures, cultural presentations and performances.

EthioNight Composition of Delegates The Ethio-Night is showcasing Carnival of Ethiopian culture, Traditional equipment, foods, dresses, music and dances to the plenary and the International participants. It is enjoyable and most entertaining night with band playing Ethiopian music and different performances.
