Lowerallattachmentstothegroundorusestandstosafelysupporttheattachmentsbeforeyoudoany
Pinsizedandsmallerstreamsofhydraulicoilunderpressurecanpenetratetheskinandresultinserious infection. Ifhydraulicoilunderpressuredoespenetratetheskin,seekmedicaltreatmentimmediately. Maintainallhosesandtubesingoodcondition. Makesureallconnectionsaretight. Makeareplacementofanytubeorhosethatisdamagedorthoughttobedamaged. DONOTuseyourhandtocheckforleaks,useapieceofcardboardorwood.
Whenremovinghardenedpinssuchasapivotpin,orahardenedshaft,useasofthead(brassorbronze) hammeroruseadrivermadefrombrassorbronzeandasteelheadhammer.
Whenusingahammertoremoveandinstallpivotpinsorseparatepartsusingcompressedairorusing agrinder,weareyeprotectionthatcompletelyenclosestheeyes(approvedgogglesorotherapproved eyeprotectors).
Whenservicingorrepairingthemachine,keeptheshopfloorandoperator'scompartmentandsteps freeofoil,water,grease,tools,etc. Useanoilabsorbingmaterialand/orshopclothsasrequired. Usesafepracticesatalltimes.
Somecomponentsofthismachineareveryheavy. UsesuitableliftingequipmentoradditionalhelpasinstructedinthisServiceManual.
Engineexhaustfumescancausedeath. Ifitisnecessarytostarttheengineinaclosedplace,removetheexhaustfumesfromtheareawithan exhaustpipeextension. Openthedoorsandgetoutsideairintothearea.
