our august pet of the month is a real fashion bunny, not surprising when you consider the pedigree of the owners, the names of whom will be familiar to readers of our debut issue; top auckland stylist/photographer karen inderbitzen-waller and french model avril planqueel who christened him with the name PETIT GRIS, french for ‘little grey’ after the grey pied rabbit fur coat he’s constantly wearing - a treasured gift from his real mum that he’s had all his life that they reckon he wouldn’t be seen dead without. “its a timeless style that works for him”, says karen, “and he’s irresistable in it”. “but for him its more than just an image or about looking cool, its become a symbol of his identity and an expression of his personality - and that’s the ultimate fashion statement!” and she should know. photo of petit gris by amanda hunt.
