Celebration Cakes
Every celebration needs cake, and every cake is a celebration... No matter the cause for celebration, pricing for cakes is dependant upon only 2 things - the amount of serves required, and the level of decoration {in other words, you won’t find a ‘wedding tax’ part of your pricing from me}. Single tier cakes are priced from $165 for a 6” diameter round cake. Double tier cakes are priced from $215 for a 6” / 4” diameter combination. Triple tier cakes and up are priced from $595 for a 9” / 7” / 5” combination. Flavour choice does not affect your price unless you opt for one or more tiers in Traditional Bourbon Fruit Cake. All tiers are constructed with 4 layers of cake plus 3 layers of ganache filling, then covered in fondant, which is applied over more ganache. You can request a butter cream filling, but this is not recommended, as it makes service quite a messy proposition {butter cream is not .substantial enough to keep layers joined together}

Cupcakes
Who doesn’t love a cupcake?... Cupcakes are loved by everyone - they are objects of affection for all of us. We delight over them and it’s been known for refreshed gentlemen to fight over the last one of them... Cupcakes are the perfect party food as they are self-contained, can be a snack or a dessert, or a gift. Cupcakes can be decorated with just as much creativity as a larger cake - the only thing that changes is the scale. Pricing for cupcakes is from $60 per dozen; there is a minimum order of 12 pieces, and a design requirement of 12 pieces per design / flavour combination. Flavour choices for cupcakes are the same as for large cakes. Decoration can be either on fondant or butter cream (fondant is applied over a small amount of butter cream for flavour and added moistness)

Cookies
Are cookies becoming the ’new cupcake’?... ‘Back In The Day’ they were called biscuits, and they were rough, and misshapen, and sometimes, they were a little burnt around the edges, just for good measure. My how times have changed! The decorated cookie is perhaps, perfection on a plate... It’s sweet, it’s as pretty as can be, you can share it {if you want to that is!} - or, you can pop it away for later and it won’t go stale like cake does. Available in a variety of flavour and shape combinations, the decoration options are as endless as your supply of imagination! They can be stacked and filled, or left in their regulation 2D flat format. Decorated cookies are priced from $24 per dozen (approx 4.5cm round, iced one colour with a single colour simple decoration, such as a monogram). Bags and ribbon can be supplied too upon request. There is a minimum order of 12 pieces per shape/colour combination. Cookies can be successfully shipped all over the Country - I currently use Australia Post’s Express Post service to ensure your cookies reach you as quickly as possible.

Desserts
When cake and cookies just aren’t enough... When I first started out in the cake business, all I created were cupcakes {that was my first business name, did you know? “Just Cupcakes”}, and on Mother’s Day and at Christmas, I’d release a small range of vintage inspired sweet things to compliment them... As the years passed, customers were no longer willing to wait for just 2 yearly opportunities for my ‘extras’, so the change was made to add them in as a permanent part of my menus. By looking to the past, I can see my future, and it’s sweet indeed - most of my dessert items have their roots firmly in Australian baking history - mallow wafers, yo-yo’s, choc chip cookies, meringues, brownies, lamingtons, coconut ice; plus a couple of ‘new-fangled’ modern items too cake pops and whoopee pies. All dessert items each have a minimum of 24 pieces {however if you are planning a desert table, then I work as a whole rather than item by item}. Some items can be successfully shipped around the Country (those are marked with an * in the menu section) so no matter your location, you too can indulge!

Java Jolt - Choc fudge cake with several shots of espresso to keep you coming back for more!
Neopolitan - White chocolate cake in classic neopolitan colours - strawberry pink, milk chocolate and vanilla. A fantasic surprise for your guests when the cake is cut! (not available as cupcakes)
White Truffle =- Simple is often the best - a plain white chocolate cake that is very rich, and very delicious!
Red Velvet - A very subtle cake in terms of flavour, but big on presence, this is a very, very mild cocoa-flavoured cake that doesn’t just have to be red (think pink for engagements, or blue for a boy’s birthday perhaps?).

A note about cookies - no matter what the flavour, all cookies are rolled to a dough thickness of 6mm and are always iced with traditional royal icing. I do not take shortcuts by using rolled fondant on cookies {unless it is for minor accent work}.
