We have gone a step futher to reach out to our consumers. We bring our online services to customers where they can customize their shoes online and come down to pickup the finished masterpiece at our shop. This ensures a 100% satisfaction guarantee should customers find any defects in the finished product, instead of having to return it if we delivered via mail.

Customers can choose many different colours to their liking. We offer a wide range of colour palettes for customers to fully express themselves. We offer a wide range of customization on our shoes, from the mud-guard, upperbody, tongue, heel tab down to the laces.

Customers can also choose to head on down to our shop to browse through our collections and various designs. We have DIY stations in our store to allow customers to customize their very own Bata kicks on the spot. Customers will be able to view colour samples directly and try on their preferred sizing to ensure a seamless experience right from the very moment they have decided to customize their very own sneakers.
LOGO & TYPEFACE Logo introduction The Bata-X logo is an important asset to the brand's image and should serve as a foundation for all our visual communications. Branching out as a sub-brand, the original Bata font is retained as we are still recognized as part of the main body. We remember our heritage with the iconic logo that is recognized by everyone since year 2000. The X represents the new Xperience that Bata-X is going to bring to all our customers. With the new X-factor that Bata-X brings, we push our consumers to X-press themselves and their creativiy, to be X-cited about our products and to X-perience our entire brand and it stands for.
Original Bata logo in red should not be used alone with the subbrand Bata-X. If used apart from the X, the text logo should still be used together somewhere on the same body element. Primary colour to used should be white, second followed by black.
The X is our visual element. It can be used independently apart from the Bata word. It can be placed on our products as a visual element to highlight our brand. Similar to the Bata logo, the primary colour to be used is white, and secondary to be black. Both the Bata and X if used separately but on the same body should not be different in colours.

BACK STORY Our story began in 1894 in a small town called Zlin, in the Czechoslovakia. The siblings Tomas, Anna and Antonin Bata founded the T.& A. Bata Shoe Company with $320 inherited from their mother. With over 300 years of family history in shoemaking, the reputation for quality and know-how of the Bata name helped propel the company’s start-up. Being the ninth generation of shoemakers, they introduced innovation which brought about the “Batovka”, a high quality, mass-manufactured, affordable shoe for working people. The Bata legacy had just begun.
BATA started building its name in the then Malaya when the first store opened at Capitol Building, Singapore on August, 1931. Tomas Bata established Bata Shoe Company Limited to carry on the business as manufacturers, distributors and marketers of footwear. Today, Bata has grown to be a leading footwear manufacturer in Singapore and operates a retail chain of more than 40 stores. Home to BATA Asia Pacific and Africa operations, the Singapore office manages close to 3,000 outlets in the region.
In Singapore, Bata built a reputation for mass-manufactured quality footwear at reasonable prices. The Bata Building housed offices, a production factory and a flagship store in one.
In 1964, a modern Bata factory was built at 66 Telok Blangah Road. The Bata Building at City Hall underwent a revamp and reopened in 1966, with their flagship store the only retail space in Singapore with an escalator between its two floors.

Bata-X was created to meet the ever changing and ever growing trends in society towards fashion today. Branching out from our main brand, this sub-brand mainly aims to target youths and young adults aged 16 - 35 who carries the knowledge of the latest trends. Breaking out from the shadow of a 100 years of history, Bata-X aims to cast a new light on our brand name. We want people of all ages, both young and old in this 21st century to recognize both Bata & Bata-X. We strive to be synonymous with shoes that everyone wears.
Here at Bata-X, we embrace new possibilities, new experiences and to create a new history. We pride ourselves on our creativity, coupled with the history and experience of being the oldest and longest shoe brand in Singapore, we are confident consumers will be a 100% satisfied with our brand and our product.
