z Application of Mandible Reduction Forceps for pre-compressing Angle site One prong must be placed into a hole on the proximal fragment medial to the oblique line and the other one into a hole on the distal fragment below the oblique line.
Symphysis & Parasymphysis site Both prongs must be placed on either side of the fracture line at the midway level, and the interval between the prongs must be over 25mm.
Body site Both prongs must be placed on either side of the fracture line at the midway level, and the interval between the prongs must be over 32mm.
