Why use our flyer pack?

Out of Hand is proud to introduce it’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2013 Flyer Pack.

With over 12yrs experience of working with promoters and venues promoting shows within the Fringe, our new Edinburgh Festival Fringe promotional solution will help promoters reach their target market in an uncluttered environment, is cost effective, reduces waste (and printing costs) and offers visitors to Edinburgh a clear, concise and USEFUL guide to the best shows the Fringe has to offer.

• The handy sized A5 pack folds out to an A3 map of Edinburgh with all the main Fringe and Festival venues highlighted.

• The pack is genuinely useful and visitors will actively WANT to receive one.

• The map inside the pack will be retained and used during each visitors stay to help them get around the city.

• Pack distribution will be a combination of direct hand to hand on the street / at the end of big shows and placement in specially designed stands in selected key venues, retail outlets, restaurants/bars/cafes/ pubs, hotels and transport hubs.

• A strict limit on the number of adverts on the map and inserts inside the pack ensures an uncluttered environment when compared to magazine advertising and poster drums.

• Opportunities for advertising to fit all budgets and include space on the map itself as well flyer inserts, 2 for 1 passes etc inside the pack.

We’ll be printing and distributing 25,000 copies throughout August.

20,000 of these via our branded “hand to hand” street teams outside all of the main venues in Edinburgh while the remaining 5,000 will be distributed in shops, bars, hostels and cafes via our branded display racks.

Our street teams will be highly visible in brightly coloured branded clothing and we’ll be picking the most enthusiastic, friendly and outgoing members of our team to spearhead the pack distribution.

The A5 pack folds out to an A3 map of the main Fringe and Festival venues; it offers opportunities for advertising on the map itself and on the cover, as well as the potential to insert flyers 2 for 1 passes etc inside the pack.

• Logo Placement; Place your logo on the map for only £75+ vat per site. This will appear on all 25,000 maps printed.

• Adverts; »» Front Cover £500 + vat »» Back Cover £400 + vat • Inserts (Flyers/Comps/Passes etc) from £40+ vat per 1000 inserts.

Distribution Schedule

Very useful for promoters; extremely handy for fringe and festival goers.

Our pack offers a cost effective way to distribute flyers to a much wider audience and we’ve kept our ad prices very competitive as well.

As a promoter/venue/performer you pay a per 1000 rate to include your flyers. Because the pack will hold a maximum of 20 flyers we can keep this rate low.

Our full colour map of Edinburgh city centre with your logo placed at your venue location is going to be a great visual guide for Fringe and Festival goers. On top of that editorial content with competitions, downloads and features makes it a “must have” free pick up for people wanting to find out what’s going on around the city.

Our Fringe packs will be placed in our special Fringe shop network stands throughout Edinburgh. These stands are designed to take our special A5 Fringe packs in over 50 independent retail outlets, bars, cafes, hostels and takeaways and other suitable outlets in Edinburgh to target potential Fringe goers. The stands will be restocked every 2-3 days during the week, with a FRESH new pack with new inserts being distributed every Monday.

We offer a complete one-stop shop solution From taking your ideas and designing your show marketing material right through to speaking with your potential customers on the street encouraging them to buy tickets for your show - we can help. This saves you time and effort as you only have to deal with one point of contact who understands your marketing needs and will update you at every stage of the campaign leaving you time to focus on the other issues to ensure a successful performances at this years Fringe.

Experienced and energetic teams of branded staff directly hand out your promotional material in specific locations at set times that you decide within Edinburgh city centre.

Probably the most targeted distribution you can get - All our staff are outgoing, well presented, fully trained and happy to approach your target audience to make them aware of your show. All staff are briefed about the flyer/leaflet they are giving out before each shift to enable them to up-sell it and answer simple questions about it and are supervised during each shift too.

Cost: £25 + vat per person , per hour.

Min booking of 2hrs per person.

Staff are supplied wearing Out of Hand Scotland branded clothing, or you can supply your own specific branded clothing in suitable sizes.
