As we move into the first weeks and months of a New Year, it is natural to reflect on what was an absolutely amazing 2022 and start to predict and project for the year to come. 2022 was a record setting year for the team here at 2 Costa Rica Real Estate with over $100,000,000 in total sales volume closed by our team. We have to thank all of our sellers and buyers for the trust they have instilled in us and reaffirm our commitment to offering the best brokerage services available here in Costa Rica.

While 2022 was unprecedented in terms of sales volume and transaction volume, our goals and expectations for 2023 are for another record setting year. Costa Rica as a destination has galvanized its reputation on a global scale and while economic trends in the last quarter of 2022 have been less than stellar in traditional markets, the amount of inquiries and interest in Costa Rica continues to be at an all time high. New investments in a private jet terminal at the Liberia airport, the announcement of the groundbreaking of Ritz Carlton Residences, a Waldorf Astoria hotel and residences, One and Only Resorts along with a host of luxury boutique projects and luxury homes across the country are responding to not only an increased demand, but also a luxury clientele once unheard of in this emerging market.

Travel & Leisure, the prestigious US-based magazine highlights the country’s wonderful summer weather, and wide array of potential activities.

Costa Rica is a fabulous destination basically year-round, but it’s no surprise that the country’s high-season begins around the months of November and December, up until April. The reason is twofold, as this is where the country’s summer season begins, offering fresh breezes in December, and wonderful sunny days throughout the next months.
