Celebrate Pasifika is a cross-regional initiative between Auckland City, Manukau City and Waitakere City councils. It seeks to build and promote the celebration of Auckland’s Pacific cultures into a nationally recognised celebration in Auckland, informing and engaging the wider New Zealand community in a diverse, unique and authentic experience. The Celebrate Pasifika programme incorporates everything from Pacific dance, crafts, workshops and exhibitions to sport, literature, film and other popular events.
