Accountability U.S. Army Disaster Personnel Accountability and Assessment System (ADPAAS) standardizes a method for the Army to account, assess, manage, and monitor the recovery process of personnel and their families affected and/or scattered by a wide-spread catastrophic event. The ADPAAS provides valuable information to all levels of the Army chain of command, allowing commanders to make strategic decisions which facilitate a return to stability.

Peach State Radio Frequencies The Peach State Radio is Georgia’s public radio station, which collaborates with Georgia Emergency Management Agency, and other agencies to provide “real time” information people need during a hurricane. LIFESAVING PREPAREDNESS STEPS FOR HURRICANE SEASON With Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield in a Hurricane prone area, Soldiers—Family Members and Civilians should prepare now for what could always be an active and destructive season.

Taking some simple, common-sense preparedness steps with your Family can save your life and the lives of the ones you love. The time to prepare is now, not when the storm is approaching.

Prepare a Personal Evacuation Plan

Choose several places where you could go if you evacuate—a friend’s home in another town, a motel or a shelter. Get a good map and be familiar with our evacuation routes. Listen to local media broadcasts for the latest storm conditions.

Evacuation Routes

Residents and visitors of south-east Georgia need to know the evacuation plan.

Chatham County: GA 21 / US 80/ GA 204—US 280 / I-16 west and follow evacuation signs. Once the evacuation order is given, I-16 will contraflow (both sides of the highway will be west-bound only) all the way out to Dublin.

Bryan County: GA 144 west and follow evacuation signs.

Liberty County: GA 144 / GA 38—US 84 west to US 301 north. Follow evacuation signs.

After the Storm Continue to monitor the radio, TV or other media sources to stay informed of the conditions.

If you evacuated, DO NOT return to the area until the “ALL CLEAR” has been given.

The Senior Commander of Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield is the ONLY person authorized to declare the All Clear for the installations.

Wayne County: US 341 north and follow evacuation signs.

Be Prepared…….Return Home Safe WHEN TOLD TO EVACUATE…..

Regardless of where you evacuate, be sure to take medications, extra clothing, pillows and blankets, food, water, and other supplies for all members of your Family. Please remember that pets are not allowed in most shelters.

DO SO IMMEDIATELY!!!!

If you are able to evacuate during the voluntary phase, do so.

Let out-of-the-area friends and relatives know your plans—where you are going or will be staying. Provide them with telephone numbers. When the storm is over, give them a call to let them know you are safe.
