They don’t make bars like this anymore Highlanders is a relaxed place for people who appreciate the finer things in life. Such as having a chat with friends, family or colleagues over a superb glass of whisky, rum or bourbon. We are a bar. Not a sports bar. Our expert staff can tell you stories about highland distilleries, but they have no idea about the latest football score. We have no televisions, but if you really need live entertainment, we can recommend our live whisky cask that is maturing in the bar. Our customers generally do not shout. As we have no loud music, they do not need to. They prefer a great conversation or quite contemplation in our comfortable leather sofas. Highlanders is perfect for just dropping by on your own; enjoying an ‘a la carte’ tasting with your friends; or using it as an unforgettable venue for your company event.
Whisky Galore! Plus rum and bourbon galore Taiwanese whisky for the adventurous. Islay gin for the connois seurs. Plantation rum for the trendy. And Scotch for us all. Highlanders isn’t a Scottish bar - we just have lots of Scotch: 180 whiskies, including single cask malt treasures from the renowned Scotch Malt Whisky Society. We proudly serve the very finest products, not just from Scotland but from all over the world, many of them quite rare and not for sale in Denmark. We carefully source our handcrafted spirits from specialist distilleries and local experts. Our range of rum and bourbon is without parallel: 20 fabulous bourbons, and 40 great rums, including a wide selection from Plantation, who in our opinion offer some of the finest rums available. We even have whiskies from such unusual places as Taiwan, Japan and Sweden. If you need a chaser with that, or are just a little thirsty, you may choose between around 80 beers, ales and lagers.
Add some whisky magic to your next event Highlanders Bar is the perfect venue for social gatherings, business gettogethers and events. Friends, colleagues or business contacts will appreciate the relaxed and informal atmosphere, the experienced and knowledgeable bartenders, and the selection of some of the world’s finest and rarest spirits. A whisky, rum or bourbon tasting, hosted by our knowledgeable staff, is a great way to socialize and get an interesting conversation started.
A la carte tasting menus With so many amazing tasting experiences awaiting you, why try only one? Ask for a tasting hosted by our knowledgeable staff. We have unique ‘a la carte’ tasting menus for whisky, rum and bourbon. Choose the region and quality that suits your taste and budget, and decide between three different glass sizes: Do you want to just sample the goods, or do you really want to indulge yourself? We also do great tastings for our beers, lagers and ales, but since we change our selection so frequently, we do not have a set menu.
Simple bar food, made with passion Our food is simple and traditional, but honest and made with passion. The kitchen is open for bar meals such as our English style fish & chips, hot pot / chilli, ribs, burgers, and steaks. If you just feel peckish, a snack menu is available until late.
