2023 Annual Summer Gala

On Friday, July 28, the music educational programming center, hosted by Toby and Itzhak Perlman, will kick off its summer fundraising program that sustains the operation and programming year-round.

A musical institute recognized for providing children with a safe, nurturing community, the program teaches them the importance of mentoring, musicianship, and life-long friendships.

The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception followed by a chorus and orchestra concert. Upon its conclusion, a seated dinner will be served at 8 p.m. on the school’s campus at 73 Shore Rd, Shelter Island Heights, Long Island. H

Celebrating 150 Years of Newport Hospital

On Wednesday, July 12, 6 p.m., at Belle Mer, on Goat Island, Newport, Rhode Island, guests will honor decades of loyal donors, supporters, and friends who have made access to quality health care a reality.

Co-Chairs; Dory Hamilton Benson, Sheika Egan, Victoria Johnson, Isabella Dana Ridall, Maura C. Smith, and Mary A. van Pelt have announced that proceeds from this year’s charity event will support Newport Hospital’s most crucial funding needs directly benefiting our patients and their families. H
