After a long break, 42´s fourth issue is finally finalised and ready to be enjoyed. This time the theme is summer, and I’m glad to say that I’ve managed to find some interesting takes on this particular season. The First editorial is shot and styled by Barcelona based Mallorcan fashion designer Xisca Morey. She takes us to her native surrounding and gives us her take on 90’s fashion, today, in Mallorca Vice 94 There’s nothing like the Swedish summer. It’s hard to explain, but the Swedish summer is special. Maybe it’s because the sun never really sets, or because the colours are so vivacious, but one thing is certain, it’s darn special. I went to Sweden’s second biggest Island, Öland, and I brought you back some photos of an enchanted evening. Sociology student Jonas Bååth went to Barcelona and found himself at a sparkling street concert in the sports harbour. The music and the people were so animated so he decided to capture the feeling with his camera. The band in the pictures is Microguagua, and you can find their attractive backbeats anywhere in Barcelona or at http://www.myspace.com/colectivomicroguagua I met Agnes Costa at a hat-making course, and I soon discovered that she’s a brilliant photographer. She told me that she’d found a ceramic treasure hidden in a bush and that she’d fallen for the beauty of the colours. The result of this finding is three pictures, which 42 have the fortune to publish in this issue. I took the bike and roomed through my childhood neighbourhood, Limhamn. As I was looking around I realised I wanted to show it as I’ve always seen it, from a bicycle. , rounds up this issue. Hope you enjoy it Anna Rasmussen editor
