WATER INFRASTRUCTURE - phase 1 As a first stage of the park’s development the terrain will be manipulated in a natural manner, mimicking a river bank with pauses on its way. The terrain will be dug slightly around 0,5-1m at the streams and the basins are around 1,5m deep. Some of the dug soil will be used to lift and shift meadow filled structures on North-West. The streams will be sometimes dry and sometimes with running water during storms. The meandering shape will be steered by curved stems at the turns (for reference, see Viktor Schauberger, River generator and Vortex Theory).

SPATIAL STUDY - Phase 2 Planting the park and forming the public spaces The planting of the park will take many years but to give the residents an immediate feel of a real park we will begin with introducing old trees in specific locations. The planting process continues within an established activity of a plant school. Trees in pots will be kept in temporary parks on South using the inventory trees for different activities and testing different rooms until they find their permanent place. The public spaces find their place between the water streams and the ponds. We mark them with an Artsand-Crafts/State of the of the ground cover, different for each location. ARCHITECTURE COMPETITION - Phase 3 Design and building of the Mystery Flower House To house and establish the activity and to celebrate the flora traditions, a building with a special (mystery) character will be placed at the South side of the park.

South Entrance Pedestrian Infrastructure 1:2000 PEDESTRIAN STRUCTURE AND ATMOSPHERE The paths in the park are differentiated by their speed and goal. Soft Paths are made to tackle the human sensory using round river stones, stepable groundcover plants , materials with different structure to give cold, warm, rough or smooth feel. The design encourages barefoot walking and play. Walk Paths are shortcuts to reach faster a given location. Sometimes, the shorter pathway is a combination of Soft and Walk paths to enrich the walking experience. The bicycle paths are designed with mind for the walkers. Important ways doesn’t need to be ignored but with the help of turns on the path we can slow down the speed. Part of the paths are to be transformed in Green Tunnels with the help of tunnel structures and hanging/climbing vegetation. The atmosphere is aimed to be mysterious and enchanted, characterized with odd growing trees and entrances formed in an unusual way.

The Mystery Flower House is inspired by the Art Nouveau (Jugend in Sweden) buildings in MalmĂś, as well as florist art and flower shops. The style Art Nouveau is characterized with reference to unfamiliar plant world taking over the buildings which is, indeed, mystical and enchanted.
