臺灣四面有著綿延的海岸線與其依賴十分的密切 , 在近 幾年漁獲量逐漸的下降 、 出海口自然的淤積導致漁船無 法順利進出等問題 , 台灣漁港面臨空間與結構的轉變 ; 海港有著新鮮的海洋資源與美好的自然風景吸引著遊客 假日前往 , 在腹地廣大的海港空間本質下與觀光行為的 迥異 , 如何解決這些散亂的狀況 、 解決開放空間所造成 的嗅味潮濕感或影響漁業作業情況 。

失序狀態 在自然或人文的事件中 , 有許多看似散亂的情形 , 但這 些散亂的行為隱含著有意識的行為 , 藉由特定的事件或 物件將其視為一個整體重新整理 。失序狀態−牧羊行為 , 牧羊人會創造特定的邊界來影響羊群的方向 , 藉由牧羊 人來驅使散亂的羊群移動至草原豐沛的區域 。 在游牧的 行為中 , 「 柵欄 」 是個重要的元素 , 牧羊人會藉由自身 所創造的空間邊界與柵欄所畫出的區域轉換來取得對於 草與水元的需求 。 同樣的 , 人也可以選擇對自己有意義 或感興趣的空間 。

在全球氣候變遷之下 , 造成雨林快速且大面積消失的原 因是 「 火災 」 , 我們藉由再植林 、 森林火災的預防 , 利 用我們的建築在森林之中建立防火區劃 , 與物理環境的 分析得到適切的對應 , 並監控森林 , 最後是藉由碳交易 的造林與植林機制 , 讓當地居民有額外的收入 , 提高居 民意願來加入我們 「 森林保衛者計畫 」 。 藉由輕量化構 造與節點設計來落實設計能讓兩人組構完成 , 並且因應 雨林不同的時期所需要的農業工作區或生活空間不同來 構築監控農業塔 , 讓因火災消失或稻伐的樹木重新回到 雨林之中 , 真正成為雨林的守衛者 。

對於基隆的日常生活來說 , 無論在何處都可以感受延綿 蜿蜒的山脈與緊鄰的北海岸水資源體現出基隆與其他縣 市獨特之處 ̶ 95% 的山脈坡地 。 在過去歷史中的基隆人 沿著與生活息息相關的基隆港水與基隆河居住 , 而田寮 河也是其中重要發展的河域 , 周邊商業在日治時期已經 非常繁榮 , 另外田寮河在過去是條運輸港 , 運送著木材 與煤礦 , 如今田寮河使用僅為防洪運河 。 面對基隆山水 的地理特質 , 藉由人們的步行經驗來創造出 「 人為 」 的 山 , 且企圖延續著與自然的山勢來連結生活的路徑 , 在 一連串山脈與河流形成的物理性質的轉換來形塑出新的 地理樣貌 , 提供當地居民與水和山之間的啟程點 , 在自 然與人為的山水之中生活著 。
