“Our first item was not even a branded Faktum piece. I made it for my son, who had been born at that time. Both projects turned out well...” As parents, we know well what children need, and of course, we also know what is best for parents. This is how our company started in the early ‘90s. The founder, Arpad Vas, wanted the perfect solution for his newborn son, but he couldn’t find it on the market, so he decided to solve this problem on his own. As family friends discovered his work, requests for his design started to come in and pile up. “Eventually we found ourselves making furniture…”. So, Arpad decided to create a company, dedicated to the comfort and safety of children.

As years passed, the company got bigger and more modern. As the demand for Faktum products grew, so did the technological background and the experience behind our experts and management. We started in a small, 40 m2 rented workshop. Today we’re producing more than 40 furniture collections with a range of over 600 types of products.

“We and our colleagues need to see more in our activity than the thousands of baby’s cots sold, more than simply products we drill, machine, assemble and package, more than graphs with positive upsurges and occasional ups and downs; the ultimate goal is the carefree smile of every little baby spending his or her first few days and years using our furniture. INTRODUCTION

For almost 30 years, Faktum’s mission has been to develop modern, safe, and stylish furniture for babies. Our company started as a small workshop, and through the years we became an international furniture manufacturing company of high standards and expert craftsmanship. As we keep learning new engineering solutions, we also keep improving our facility and technology.

Our motto „Quality, Safety, Harmony” describes every aspect of our work. We aim to create a comfortable and sleek environment for our loved ones, with a constant desire for progress. Through years of painstaking research and hard work, we became the leading brand of children’s furniture in Hungary, and our name became a synonym of high quality and trustworthiness, as all of our products got the approval of TÜV safety standards. Simple and spectacular. The Loop range was de signed with focusing on clarity: the lack of knobs and extra mechanisms grants a modern and safe envi ronment for playful children. Drawers are equipped with built-in shock absorbers, guaranteeing us safe and quiet nights, just like the doors with soft close mechanisms. Pieces of this collection are a great choice in any coloured rooms, with their white fronts and sides, put in an elegant frame of Arwen Oak. The legs are made of solid beech wood.
