Spinal Pain & Back Injuries Radio Campaign The Campaign Misdiagnosis of spinal pain and back injuries are becoming more common and the British nation is relying on painkillers to manage their daily lives. Not only is this costly to the health service, but many drugs are dangerous or highly addictive. 4mediarelations were tasked to raise awareness of Nuffield Health and position them as the national expert voice for orthopaedic and spinal pain injuries by highlighting their expertise in physiotherapy, surgical and medical treatments. Health Matters Audio Feature Market Research: 4mediarelations launched a survey with Atomik Research which revealed that a quarter of Brits have been consuming painkillers for more than five years and a further 23% admit to taking 5 to 10 tablets daily which is more than the allocated safe dosage. Of the two thirds of Brits who suffered from pain or injury in the last year, 83% used pain killers to manage the pain and a third of them have been doing so for more than three years. The national and regional statistics were discussed during radio interviews and used for further PR activity.
