Nooteboom semi low loader with hydraulic widening

LATEST NOOTEBOOM SEMI LOW LOADER WITH HYDRAULIC WIDENING

The latest addition to the Nooteboom range is the OSD-73-04 semi-trailer with hydraulic widening, specially developed for transporting machines weighing up to 47 tonnes at 80 km/h. Even tracked excavators with a track width up to 2,900 mm and a track length of at least 5,000 mm can be transported efficiently and safely.

Robust design, great ease of operation, simple design with a minimum of moving parts are key features of this latest OSD73-04(S) semi-trailer. The 4-axle vehicle is available with single extension loading floor and has two self-tracking axles. Within the international exceptional transport market there is a growing interest in hydraulic widening on a semi low loader. With the new OSD-73-04(S) the loading area can be widened quickly and easily from 2,540 mm to 3,210 mm. This saves time and effort, is optimal ergonomics and results in higher efficiency. At the push of a button, the width of the loading area can be steplessly adjusted, with the left and right sides separately adjustable. For extra grip, the sliding parts are fitted with a rubber top layer. SAFE LOADING & UNLOADING

For the safe and efficient loading and unloading of machines, the semi low loader is equipped with automatic hydraulic folding ramps of four metres in length. These are suitable for a maximum wheel pressure of 15 tonnes per ramp. With a gradient of only 11 degrees, machines can easily be loaded and unloaded onto the semi-trailer. The steel ramps are equipped with wooden parts. At the rear, the vehicle is equipped as standard with folding support legs for safe driving on and off machines. Hydraulic support legs are optional. These are infinitely adjustable independently on the left and right and are ideal for uneven ground. Meanwhile, more than 20 new vehicles have been ordered and partially delivered, especially in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The hydraulic widening is available for the 4-axle semi low loaders with extendable loading floor OSD-73-04V(S). For the near future it is to be expected that it will be available on other types.
