The Journal from Jan Newsome
Jan recently returned from Dallas visiting Ann Strother, whom we featured in the 2023 holiday issue of Mountain Time in the Smokys. The pair got to celebrate Jan’s birthday and Jan explored the 66-acre Dallas Arboretum where they have stunning 200 feet tall Magnolia trees that line walkways. Check out Jan below in front of the beautiful wall of flowers.
Back home in Connestee Falls, Jan captured a few snapshots of her furry neighbors. Out here, you don’t have to venture into a national or state park to experience wildlife up close and personal!
