It’s All About The Etiquette
Etiquette and Image Summer Camp
On August 2, 3, and 4 an Etiquette and Image Summer Camp was held at the Blue Heron for 8th through 11th grade students wishing to improve their social skills. The camp was put on by Robbie Renee Milbert. She is an etiquette expert trained and certifi ed by the mecca of manners, the Emily Post Institute. She opened Robbie Renee & Co. etiquette school in 2014 and coaches East Central Florida adults and children in all manner of considerate comportment. The students were instructed in every day manners, proper greetings, casual and formal introductions, correspondence, technology etiquette, sports etiquette, manners at home and other venues, and being a proper host and guest. Tea Etiquette was discussed during a mid-day tea, and dining etiquette was worked on during a multi-course meal. Image training included personal appearance, grooming, proper attire for every occasion, and appropriate posture. The end of the course was a lesson on how to dance the Fox Trot.
