Emotion is a fundamental aspect of the human experience, influencing our behaviors, wellbeing, and overall satisfaction. By adopting an emotional landscape design approach, we seek to craft spaces that evoke positive feelings, inspire contemplation, and encourage meaningful connections. This will involve an indepth understanding of the local community, c u l t u re , a n d h i s to r y to e n s u re t h e d e s i g n resonates with their unique emotional landscape. Every landscape has a story to tell, and I believe in infusing our designs with narratives that captivate hearts. By incorporating storytelling into the fabric of the landscape, we can create an emotional connection with the users, narrating tales of the community's past, present, and future aspirations. This storytelling approach will breathe life into the design and stimulate a d e e p e r l eve l o f e m o t i o n a l e n g a g e m e n t .
" Fill the public space with love."
I envision a transformational approach to landscape design that embraces emotion, love, and a profound sense of community. My aim is to craft public spaces that not only dazzle the eyes but touch the soul, fostering a genuine connection and inspiring enduring memories. By co-creating landscapes that embody the emotional fabric of the community, we can build a legacy of love and togetherness that stands the test of time.

COMMUNITY DESIGN/STORY TELLING/ CULTURAL ASSEST/ UNEVEN GEOGRAPHIES MEMORY OF THE GROUND
This is a community design project in Apalachicola, Florida. Education is the foundation for the future. Education resources, like educational institutions and educational infrastructures, not only tie the community’s history together, but also could provide a p u b l i c g a t h e r i n g s p a c e a n d a ro u t i n e f o r a l l c o m m u n i t y m e m b e r s to t a ke p a r t i n . The Hill community has always attached great importance to educational resources in the past. However, nowadays, the loss of educational resources weakened the thread that binds the community together, and threatens the strength of the community in the future. "Children are more willing to play computer at home," said a community w o r k e r w h o w o r k s i n t h e e d u c a t i o n s y s t e m , " T h e y l o s e t h e m o t i v a t i o n t o l e a r n ." My idea is to choose several blocks or vacant places between two existing educational infrastructures in Apalachicola, History Wallace M. Quinn site which is now used as a place that offers afterschool programs for students from K to 12, and the recreation center which will be opened next year to make a safety route for children to learn and play. Each of those design areas will have different prompts to benefit children for perception exploration and vitality and consider as a children friendly design.

GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE/ SHORELINE PROTECTION/ WHARF DECONSTRUCTION LIVING GROUND The Bay Studio positions the design of wet lands as natural infrastructure for human and ecosystem communities in the Chesapeake region. These areas are home to some of the hardworking and historically marginalized h u m a n c o m m u n i t i e s a n d e c o s y s t e m s a n d re i m a g i n i n g p o s s i b i l i t i e s f o r a m o re j u s t , resilient, and beautiful future through the design of wet landscapes is our task. The current state of private commercial docks prioritizes ship ownership over the health of aquatic habitats and the environment. Through my design, I aim to transform these docks into sustainable, ecological models that prioritize the health of the ecosystem. The first stage of the project will involve utilizing wetlands to gradually form small islands that will improve the ecological environment around the wharf, taking advantage of the unique characteristics of these ecosystems to store sediments and utilize natural water processes. In order to connect the community with the wetland, a safe road and bridge will be constructed along the railway track. The second stage of the design involves constructing an ecological wharf, replacing the existing pileling with new materials that will minimize environmental pollution. The new wharf will feature ecological revetment and a living shoreline that will help to soften the hard coastline and further improve the surrounding environment. Meanwhile, reuse those old materials with the site's design.

LANDSCAPE ENTANGELMENT/ PUBLIC SPACE/ SEAT/ HISTORY WRINKLE OF THE GROUND E
Explore the myriad, and often contested, ways that public landscapes perform as socioecological spaces (David Harvey) and racialized topographies (Jeff Ueland and Barney Warf). By pairing the designed landscape with concepts of the socio-ecological, social nature and public spaces, you will be asked to consider that nature is always social and intertwined with the urban. G
H
Downtown Pedestrian Mall as the most crowded sites in the city, over its long history, continues to be a place of protest, celebration, and gathering. The "wrinkle" contains the wisdom of the earth, it carries the numerous historical events of Downtown. Transit center, as the hub of transportation, to some extent, activities the city and generates the new wrinkle. Zoom into the site, each of the site’s four sides thrust an invisible force into the site. The design makes this force visible through a series of terraces that undulate from the north to Water Street, expressing the concept of wrinkles. As the site is squeezed by the buildings, the middle of the site forms an elevated ramp - the most obvious wrinkle - and two sunken spaces on either side. These spaces will allow for people to linger and relax. Trees form wrinkles within and around the central ramp. The canopies of these trees are reflected in a continuous undulation along the fold lines.

I was curious about everything. The view in adults' world is a 5'5'' perspective , and I would always see things above the ground. For example, like the old tree which stands across the street, its roots have already buried deeply in the ground and squeezed the paved stone tiles, so I want to touch it。And as I can see the chain link fence of the coffee shop, if I can sit on it and swing for a little while, I will have much more fun.

The weather is so cold, what happened to the school bus. we have been here for10 minutes. I also have to hold my little girl, I dont know why she is always so naughty, and trying to get rid of my hand. After a long day of work I am so tired that I need to get a bench to sit down. But the bench of the bus stop is made of metal, and a young man put something there also. However, there are a lot of chairs in the coffee shop beside us, but I am not prefer to have a cup of coffee now.

GROUND MATERIAL/ GROUND LAYERS/ DECOMPOSITION IMMERSING INTO THE GROUND The first impression I had of Ohio was the golden layer of fallen leaves and as I walked down the steep slope, falling branches, fallen tree trunks and mossy rocks on the ground combined to form a complete organism. How is this organism related to each other? What is the connection between their superimposed patterns? This was the question that came into my mind at first. So I decided to try to discover the combination pattern of the representative ground materials of Ohio by digging, and summarizing the different layers. However, when people come into Ohio, they are often attracted by the tall trees and ignore the ground materials. This made me think about bringing the joy of ground materials to others. Besides, in my design, I created the basic units of the different topographies. To illustrate, there are topographies of the downward belly bowl shaped, which made it the natural dig shape. Then I considered the dfferent placement of ground materials in the topographies, and created several long sections with more than just various layers of them. In addition, through the combination of terrains and ground materials, each section has a specific one as a theme. In this case, we can discover how people relate to a specific ground material and take an immersive exploration to have fun of it. Meanwhile, the direction of the intersecting routes provide a trail that can detour these sections, which can provide different options.

HISTORY BUILDING/ ARCHITECTURE + LANDSCAPE DESIGN REVIVAL OF HISTORY BAROQUE BLOCK With the gradual migration of population to cities, there is more green space outside the city. However, the amount of green space in the city center is extremely scarce. This is one of the problems faced by many cities at this stage. The utilization rate of historic building blocks in Daowai District is decreasing year by year due to the dilapidation of blocks. At the same time, the coverage rate of greening is decreasing year by year. Therefore, the project considers turning the historical block to a city-block park. Use landscape techniques to activate the city's central block, and add plantation flower bed green house and roof gardern in the block. Meanwhile, considering to express the seasonal landscape in the site. Renovate Baroque historical buildings and plant landmark buildings as landmarks to attract people.
