I am a 20-year-old boy, which means that my life has been finished quarter. In the life of this quarter, I divided it into three parts. My birth; my learning and my moment. I would like to integrate and analyze each scattered fragments, in order to responsible for my life. After all, each part of my life created me right now.
How the born environment created my personality? We all know that environment will affect a person. If child grow up in the environment filled with love, he or she might become a positive person. If child grow up in the violent families, situation might be different. However, I have been thinking whether my personality was impacted by my birth recently. So, I did some simple analysis on my own.
I was born in the countryside, the small fishing village of Yunlin, which called Jinhu. There are many fish farms which distributed everywhere between road and street. The oyster-shell stacked in the roadside instead of cars. The sound of chickens and dogs is louder than human’s voice. Although the residents are rarely, they’re very enthusiastic. Their enthusiasm is adding more vitality to this peaceful countryside. Perhaps, my gentle temperament and a lively personality are from here.
However, my family influenced me the most. My father is a scrivener. He always said to me, "Friends are more important than money". What he means was to cherish a friend, and I did it. Until now I still keep in touch with my classmates of junior and senior high school. My kindness and carefulness are from my mother who engage in medical work. I always remember friend’s birthday and prepare a gift in advance. If they need help, I'm always happy to do for them. It is more blessed to give than to receive. Besides, I also play a leader role, because I am a brother of children. To be a model is my responsibility. That is a one of reasons why I always be a class leader in school.
I think most people know themselves, but doesn't investigate that what created their personality. Simple analysis can help you know more about yourself. As the saying goes “Like father, like son�. My nature is the epitome of homeland and family. I believe that the personality will be affected by the growing environment.
what I learned in school is not only schoolwork ! The high school is a very important stage of life. People always say that schoolwork, clubs and love are the three required credits. I agree very much, in particular club. I think that students have to participate in club, because of skills and activities which do not learn in class. These are very useful. In future, schoolwork will be forgotten, but skills will be not. That is why I support to join clubs strongly.
Take me for example, when I was in high school, I participate in the band and responsible for playing percussion. No matter bass drums, snare drums or cymbals, I was well versed in. I even became the leader to guide whole club when I was sophomore in high school. In addition, I also took part in the drama club's performance. It was my honored to be starring in several plays. Experience of performing let me understand some stage rules, so that I got a chance to take charge of graduation ceremony. These experiences made me learn a lot, including the planning of activities and the gripe of time, etc. Most of them are more useful than schoolwork.
Until now, I still remember some of the song's rhythm. If someone wants to learn drums, I will teach him. Stage experience makes me feel more confident and let me have a chance to hold activities. Thanks to have these experiences that I did not become a bookworm. Learning some talent will help your life more Wonderful.
Having said that, we can’t neglect academic completely because of clubs. Degree is a threshold which leading to good jobs. Therefore, degree is important. Studying hard and getting a highly educational background, so that ability have a place to exert.
My Interests, my study ! One of the happiest things in life is having clear objectives. If objectives are related to interests, the enforcement of power will more than without interests. Maybe some people think that interest can’t make money. In my view, as long as stick to the end, we will definitely succeed. However, we must be brave and take the first step, or the goal just a daydreaming. Next I will share my experiences with you.
I aspire to be a graphic designer. In order to achieve this target, I enter to the Department of Graphic Communication of Arts(GCA). GCA’s courses have three main directions, “Photography”, “Design” and “Print”. Most of them are my interests.
“Photography” is considered to take a picture generally. In fact, it is not easy to take a good work. The good photos are emphasis on creative composition. Special, rare or interesting composition will attract attention immediately. In addition, meaningful photos are also good photos like Documentary photography and family photos. Some people believe that a good camera can shoot a good photo, but I don’t think so. I consider that the photo is more important than the camera. To change the view of the world, I believe you can shoot good photos, too.
“Design” is the most interesting group which attracted me very much. GCA’s design is classified as graphic design which is used in many purposes. For instance, posters, books, magazines, albums and all kinds of advertisements are common applications. Graphic design is focus on the comfort of forum so that layout is important relatively. Personally, I prefer simple and elegant layout. A lot of blank space is not only concise, but also increase attention. Color is also one of learning. The use of warm colors and cool colors can enrich savor of the work.
If say that printing is the one of the most important industry, I will agree. “Print” surrounded in our daily life. From clothes to advertising billboards, every things you see are printing. Even furniture’s colors are printing, too. The main colors of printing divided into “cyan”, “magenta”, “yellow”, “black”. Other colors are made of these four colors. Of course there are special colors which have to use overlapping way to print. Creating a new color is my goal.
In order to become a graphic designer, I need to learn more and study hard. Fortunately, “Photography”, “Design” and “Print” are my interests. How do I know? I have helped many activities to produce plane propaganda and record promotional video. I found that I’m good at these and got a lot of accomplishment from these. So, I’m happy for studying right now.
It can be said that 20 years old is a turning point. A child transform into an adult. Not only physiology was changed, but also mentality. The mind of this phase is so complex that usually need someone to share. Thank you for reading.
