Poison frogs don’t eat a variety of food but they do eat a variety of the same food, insects some hard insects to catch. Poison frogs focus on a certain type of food, insects. They focus on only insects yet they spread out the insects they eat, usually though their first choice would be Fruit flies or Crickets or Meadow Plankton. Yet hard to catch poison frogs also go for Mice. Poison frogs catching mice might sound amazing but did you know they also go for snakes!
Diet This Poisonous frog has just caught one of the many Insects they eat, a worm!!
Diet
Poison frogs eat those things but they also eat foods that are easier to catch. One of these easier things to catch is ants and termites, poison frogs get them off different types of plants. Yet termites and ants are not very filling they are still very satisfying to poison frogs because they are not full of poison making these frogs not have to waste their poison on such small insects. This is one of the many non- poisonous non dangerous things poison frogs attack.
This frog is currently in the eastern Hawaiian islands searching for food.
Appearance

Did you know that many non-poisons frogs have the same colors as poisons frogs. Many people would think of this as a bad thing right? Well guess what it is surely not a bad thing for nonpoison frogs. You know why, be prepared to learn. Having the same color as a poisons frog can come into handy because you predators don’t attack you thinking that your a poisons frog. Why? if you where a poisons frog then you would be able to poison predators. Thats what predators think nonpoisons frogs will do even though really they have no poison. Did you know that this way poison frogs protect non- poison frogs. So now you know that poisonous frogs protect non-poisonous frogs.
Appearance This is one of the very many different types of colors that poisonous frogs pertain within them. Most of them are yellow or red.
Poisons frogs have an interesting feature to their bodies; their color. Most poisons frogs are red, orange, yellow, blue, green or black. Most of them, yet not all, are brightly colored. These colors help these frogs camouflage into their settings frogs use camouflage all the time, especially when their eating or sleeping. These colors also help predators know that these frogs are poisonous. Poisonous frogs have some truly amazing body features, one of them is their color.
Habitat This frog Is currently in its habitat searching for food, to eat.
Most poisonous frogs live rare places for animals to survive. These places are mostly hot and very humid. These frogs who live out here have to survive weather that can get very cold at night and extremely hot during the day, usually during summer reaching about 100-105 farenheight during day time. This makes it hard for any animals to survive. Its cool that frogs can survive in these rare places that others can’t!!
Habitat
This Poisonous frog is currently in Germany, showing how many places poisonous frogs really live in.
Many poisonous frogs live in different parts of the world. Poisonous frogs live in different parts of the world yet most of them live in Central/South Africa. They live here since it is very humid & hot, especially in the summer time. Frogs live on 6 of the 7 different continents; every continent except for Antarctica.
