Introduction What are endangered animals? Endangered animals are species whose population is low in number. There are five levels of endangered animals: least concern, near threatened, vulnerable, endangered, and critically endangered animals. Animals are endangered for many reasons and are threatened in different ways. There may be severe impacts on the environment and ecosystems if endangered animals become extinct. Despite all these negative points, there are still solutions.
