Diseases that Spread from Animals to People Zoonosis Diseases are diseases spread from animals to humans. Zoonosis can be caused by viruses, bacteria, parasites, and fungi. Zoonosis is a type of a disease. It can cause about 3 out of 5 new human sickness from bugs and animals. One example of a Zoonosis Disease is Listeria. Disease spread from Humans to Animals Reverse zoonoses diseases are similar to zoonosis, but the difference is that the reverse zoonosis diseases spread from humans to animals. Scientist have found reverse zoonoses diseases on every continent except Antarctica. This is a worldwide threat!! Since people can travel all over the world, scientist predict we will see more reverse zoonoses diseases. Therefore more diseases will be spread. Some examples of reverse zoonoses diseases are white pox, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).

This is a bacteria called Staphylococcus Aureus.

Conclusion There are different types of diseases. Some diseases affect only animals, other diseases affect only people. Some diseases spread from animals to people, while other diseases spread from people to animals. Since people travel all around the world, the number of diseases could increase, which could affect ecosystems and could also affect humans.
